I. Abhinav Kumar, client id : 10703905 paid rs.336 to Videocon D2h on 4feb19. I also smsed for activation of services. I many times called their number but it being non reachable. I frequently emailed them for activation of services. But no action has been taken by them till date.
Kindly redress this grievance at the earliest please.

    This is regarding the selection of D2h my plan on 3rd Feb and D2h guys were saying that plan will be implemented on the same day. But still 4 days has gone till now plan has not changed which should be as per according to me. And even I have tried to talk to them but their customer care number not responded. Kindly check and take appropriate action in this regard.

      I am trying to set my first 100 channels in videocon d2h, but the service operator provided no option to choose my first 100 channels. I have mailed to so many times and also I am trying to contact their customer care number for selection of first 100 channels, but no one reply my mail. I can't create my actual pack.
      Kindly look into my matter and do the needful.

        Sir we are facing problem with our videocon D2h connection since the transition from 1st february 2019. Tried raising complain with them but they dont even register the complain nor they are trying to solve the complain. Not only me thousands of subscriber are facing the problem. There customer care no. Doesnt connect most of the time and whenever it get connected customer care represantative always say their is some technical error in their system so they cant say anything or line get automatically disconnected after holding for half an hour. Neither they will arrange any call back even. I have a recording of my last call with them also which clearly shows their intention that they are doing so purposely. Even our choice as per TRAI they are not exercising. 1000 of rupee are already their in their system of thousands of subscriber but they are not listening to us. I have even posted my query on twitter tagging videocon d2h but of no help. I know these are petty issue which should not be reported to you but for the benefit of lakhs of people and make these company realise that they cant do wrong thing I am writing this to you. Please help

          Videocon d2h makes 100 channels mandatory instead of 24 dd channels as per the trai mandate (They mention with an asterisk sign that it is being stipulated by trai). Thus when we make the selection the channel counts go above 150 or 175 and they can charge us for that too. The good en devour done by trai is being completely overruled by d2h. Along with that after the selection has been made the final page of confirmation again changes our pack saying best value pack. The trais decision to make dth sector clean is being made into a way to plunder poor subscribers. Shame on you d2h

            As per the new TRAI rules I selected channel and registered well before the last date for the same i.e 31st Jan 2018. But I am not getting those channels. I am trying to reach the customer care of d2h regarding this. I am unsuccessful in getting them over phone and their website is also not functioning. I don't know how to resolve this issue.

              Dear sir,
              Videocon d2h customer care numbers I am trying since last 3days but it is not connecting at all. They have blocked my channels without any notice. I selected my new package with help of Help menu from TV screen but still those channels are blocked.
              And they are sending messages also for subscription renewal even most of the channels are blocked.

                Channels rate on TV is different from the rates online. New rates they have increased online. This is unacceptable. This new regulation has confused the customers. Tata Sky has turned into a fraudulent one. They are cheating every customer. 2 rupees for a customer is making them earn crores together in a day.

                Kindly check this issue on a prior basis.

                  I have Done a top up on my DTH (sundirect) with Rs.100 Account credited with amount 92 only after tax deduction, when I tried to purchase a add-on Chanel, here also they are deducting tax 18%, How this is possible. Shukla is installing Airtel mobile tower in the residential area in the unauthorised way..As in Awas Vikas colony, The installment of tower is fully prohibited.. The area is prone to cancer patient, heart patient, b.p. patient. And the rays emitted by the mobile tower are harmful for the health.. Apart from that, Buildings are not earthquake resistant, so due to this mobile tower there is a danger for life as well.

                        According to the new policy the monthly fees that has to be charged by the service provider is 130 but Tata sky use to charge 153 rupees.
                        Hi - I have selected 87 Channels in Total - 51 Free channels and 36 Paid Channels - when I selected the options - I got the confirmation and detatils as below -
                        130 + Tax = 153 + 113 = 266.
                        Where as it is still not shown as my recharge amount under my connection and also when I contacted the helpdesk - they say it is Rs.296.
                        They are simply adding the Free Channels and charging the Rental More. Have already raised a complaint and sent a email too along with copy to Nodal officer. Also raised on Chat - where after 1 hour of chatting they are not able to provide the details or justify this.

                        Have been more than a Week - they are keep on raising new request and not even provided a Call Back yet. Still waiting to hear back from Tata Sky - it works out to be a very bad service.

                        What I got till now is - instead of the selected channels by me - they add all the free channels and increase their rent and say we have given 190+ channels which I have never requested. I have submitted another request and this time - I have captured the screenshot of the selections made and the confirmation page with reference number. Lets see what they say this time - As I have selected only 72 channels including 35 Paid and 37 free.

                          Dear sir,
                          I am using Dish DTH service paid my subscription Amt for 3 months, switch date was 13 feb19, but they deactivated my pack right from 2nd feb 19 despite of assurance and mail for not migration.
                          Sir, see the content which are concern to consumers interest
                          1-Why we pay Rs 153 for bogus channels
                          2-Why we are not given liberty to choose channels and pay right from channel 1
                          3-Who says cost has gone down by 20%(DTH operator says), I am consumer says Sorry cost has gone up to 100% for the same pack we were watching earlier.
                          Dear Sir,
                          Consumers and subscribers were very happy without Set box as they were free to opt any DTH operator any time and were getting good service from Cable operators.
                          You implemented SET Box to protect consumer interest but it was really a protection of DTH operators interest from your end.
                          Reason:1-Consumer can not switch over to other operator in case he is not getting fair services from current operator
                          2-Operators can change or modify packs cost /channels as per their interest.
                          3-Switch over facility is blocked as we can't pay the cost of set box by changing operator and keeping current set box and thus remain blocked with same operator forever.
                          Now new guideline:
                          Are not for consumer but for DTH operator protection only
                          Reason:
                          1-Why we pay for Rs 130+GST for base pack-As already we have paid the cost of connection installation to operator.
                          2-Not only base pack cost they charge but Rs 30 for additional 25 channels.
                          3-Your concern was to reduce the cost and burden of consumer but this new guide line cost us almost double, that what we were paying earlier for same pack.

                          If you are really concern for consumer.
                          1-Implement portability of DTH operator immediately without changing Set Box.
                          2.Remove base pack cost Rs 130 and give liberty to consumers to choose channels and pay the cost like Telecome Mobile charges..All telecom operators are charging for calls that we do not fix base charge every month.

                          You are govt authority see poorest to poor people in our country only the tools for their entertainment is Television cable, how they will pay this increase and unmatched price.
                          I know many family's are forced to stay their life without T.V entertainment because of your New Guideline.
                          Hope for few steps to protect consumers.

                            I have opted my channels as per the trai rules, in my settup box of videocon company. But they have not put those channels which i opted. Instead the old package is being continued without my permission. Your rule says that the facility should be provided from february 1, 2019. But i am not able to enjoy my channel selection. Take some strict action regarding them. They are not even picking our call and also not responding to our mail. Do something regarding this.

                            But except the 2 alacarte pay channels no other channel is active in my STB.

                            I even tried to call the SITI nodal officer but he did not help and disconnected the call. Now as I had made the payment I would like to know

                            1) When will I be able to see the channels?
                            2) Which will be the package end date as I am not able to see the package channels?
                            3) If not then I want the paid amount refunded.
                            પ્રજા ...? AIR જે ચેનલો ફરજિયાત ફ્રી જ શે એ ચેનલો પેકેજ રીચાર્જ ખતમ થઈ જાય પછી કેમ બંધ થઈ જાય છે કાયદેસર ફ્રી ચેનલો ચાલું રહેવી જોઈએ પેકેજ બંધ થાય એની સાથે બંધ ના થવી જોઈએ કેમ કે એ ફ્રી એર ચેનલો છે તો કંપનીઓ આ રીતે પ્રજા ને છેતરે છે ???
                            we are getting channels through local cable operator at kandivali mahavir nagar mumbai. IN CABLE is service provider. they dont give facility to select channel online on alacarte basis, as well as no online payment facility is provided on their websites.subscriber have to go to their office ant they have to compulsorily selecttailormade package at the double cost.

                              Today on 7th Feb 2019, I am receiving many SMS from TATA Sky regarding activation of some channels with considerably higher rate. These channels, I have already activated by Al-la-crate selection. e.g Movies OK earlier Rs.1.12 now Rs.16, Discovery science earlier Rs.2.20 now Rs.17 etc.

                              This is clearly a case of cheating by TATA Sky. Before adding any channels to Customer of Al-la-Crate they have to take their consent before & only on his/her agreement they have to activate the channels.

                              Pls. take it to TATA Sky & resolve

                                Dear Sir,
                                I have Airtel DTH connection with ID no [protected]. I choose new package on 1st February but till date I am not able to view the Program. Online complaint register many times but they are answering that there is technical problem.
                                From last 3 days there Customer care lines are not working. I have been kept waiting for 14 min. still unable to get their customer care executive.
                                Hope we will look into it and I will get the extended validity for these days till which i am not able to view the channels. My account balance is above Rs. 800/- .
                                Also take action against the service provider.

                                  According to the new policy the monthly fees that has to be charged by the service provider is 130 but tata sky use to charge 153 rupees instead also for star pack they are charging 181 rupees for zee pack they are charging 81rupees and for sony pack they are charging 101rupees. I just want to know this new policy is for tata sky or for the users who uses there service. Before this policy i use to pay 299 monthly for the same package for which i am going to pay 365 rupees now l. What a joke with the customers they are showing something else and charging something else. Digital india

                                  Hi, please note that broadcasters are advertising their packs prices without including taxes. As per the regulation, 18% tax will be applicable on all pack and channels prices. Applicable taxes are mentioned in broadcasters ads' fine print also for you to see.
