Trai — closure of a number not taken up by vodafone

I have raised a request to close my data set connection for the number [protected] in april to vodafone chat team.

They asked me to pay the bill for the april month first and then raise the request again. I paid the bill for april despite of not using the connection and raised the request again on 8th may 2017.

The request number[protected], when i check the request status it is showing as closed on 16th may 2017.

Next month i received a bill for rs. 400, which is a lesser amount than my plan i. E. Rs.857. After that from last 2 months i am receiving bills every month.

If my connection was not closed there must be some notification sent to me that my request is not treated how it should be. I will be looking in the portal only which shows the request as closed.

Also according to trai rules, first the connection must be closed after the request has been generates then the remaining amount needs to be submitted. They are generating new bill every month when i have raised this concern to their each and every executive who have called me.

Now from last month, i am receiving calls from vodafone customer care like i am some criminal and ran away with your money.

Every other day the team calls me, and there is some lady who talks very rudely.

This is a harassment for me and also this bill generation is baseless and against the consumer rights which bounds me to file a consumer forum complaint.

Now today i received a call from someone who claims himself to be the lawyer from vodafone end calls me and threatens me to fill the amount by 5pm today itself and also claims that i have been sent a legal notice and which i haven't received and asking me to come to court and when i am talking totally calmly to him he is screaming on me. Who on earth threatens like this on a phone call, if he is a lawyer.

Also the person is claiming that i have made calls from the number for which i am asking to close which is totally incorrect allegation and there are multiple false allegations harassment from vodafone company to a lady.

I have already sent and email to their customer support email id and haven't received a response from the team.

Kindly please look into the issue asap and help me.
