I got travelport voucher from Standard Chartered bank enhancement pack which they had mentioned number of cities and number of hotels there which can be booked for two nights along with breakfast just paying 1300. In voucher, there were multiple clauses - 1. Three cities along with three hotels, you have to select and you never knows which one will get selected so you can not plan until you get the confirmation from TravelPort.Even you can not book your journey tickets till then. 2. You have to inform them 1 months in advance by sending filled physical voucher couriered to them. 3. You have to order DD of rupees 1300 and that also should be sent through courier. I did all above and selected three cities and three hotels from their list (which were very good hotels). After a time, I got confirmation that my option for Shimla is picked. I booked the ticket and then I got informed that hotel which I had selected is booked and they gave options of 2 star cheap hotels (which were even not family hotel I found later). When plan was ready I had no option to choose one. I selected one. Few days before my travel, I got call that they will cancel my reservation if I dont pay 600 more to them as policy is now revised. As time was left and I had pressure from family. I paid 600 more. One more family joined with me as well during my visit to Shimla and they also stayed with me and I booked another room directly with hotel. So, I found that the hotel which they had offered was very cheap. The cheating done by Travelport is never forgettable. So, I would recommend never try to plan your holiday with TravelPort. Also, dont take Standard Chartered bank enhancement pack.

    I have been issued 6 vouchers(ie 12 movie tickets ) by The Mobil Store on purchase of a Samsung Grand . But had really worst experience when it comes to get redeemed those vouchers.earlier also my few vouchers/tickets has been wasted due to expiry/validity(because after giving booking requests 3-4 times also, they keep rejecting your booking saying "booking rejected due to technical error. i am jostling hard to get my voucher redeemed/get movie tickets from last one month(ie from 10 nov to 10 dec, 13), after giving fresh bookings for more than 4-5 times(ie atleast 10 alternatives of theaters & timings) i am not able to get two tickets.I have been requested on 18th Nov to give fresh booking for the last time ie 4th time(refer trailed mail) but then again &after that also my bookings has been cancelled repeatedly. I have been called by Ms Tanvi several times & promised that within 3-4 days/or by next week/or by monday, executive will call me & issue the tickets but only false promises only. ealier also i have suffered the same panic in order to get my vouchers redeemed. I am being forced to beg for the vouchers which i have been issued against a purchase from TMS (The Mobile Store).Will request TMS to not to issue such vouchers. Request you all to please provide me contact details of the persons to whom i can complaint against the harrassmen

      I have got a Travelport Holidays voucher from Standard Chartered bank as part of the Enhancement pack last June and is valid till May 2012. I sent this voucher to Mumbai office mid feb for booking on Mar last week. Note that the voucher needs to be sent 28 days before the booking date. We have sent it well before that but was sent back to us saying the rooms are not available. Again we sent the voucher back on 6-Apr and this time the issue is, till now they are telling they have not received the voucher. I have checked with the post office I sent the post and they said it has been delivered and is not pending with us.

      I have been calling the Customer care[protected] from 7-Apr on a daily basis and have sent 4 mails and till now I have not got any procedure on how to get the hotel room booked. I have the voucher number and the post with the covering letter which the customer care lady sent us back in Feb due to non availability plus the whole enhancement pack. I have not used any of the services yet. I'm not sure if Travelport is cheating saying they have not received the voucher. My experience is totally bad with Travelport

      Today I logged a complaint with Standard Chartered bank as well. I'm concerned as the expiry is just a month away. Even for a FD certificate which has got lost, there is some procedure to get the money back. There should be something if the voucher has got lost in transit but Travelport is avoiding their obligations. Hope this issue gets resolved.

      Snapdeal and Travelport and fleecing customers and you should be beware:

      1) Snapdeal has been selling a hotel voucher from some agent called travelport offering 4 night stay for Rs 4099. They also carry a long list of hotels across India and customer can choose from any of them
      2) Snapdeal takes advance payment of Rs 599 for the voucher and asks you to pay remaining Rs 3, 500 to Travelport
      3) I purchased 2 vouchers on 5th Jun from snapdeal and emailed the same to travelport on 6th June. I choose the hotel dates in last week of August which was 3 month ago. This, was to make sure that I get the booking in my preferred hotel.
      4) I kept on trying to contact them with no response, . Finally on 11th June, I got the bank account details from travelport where they wanted me to deposit remaing amount. They refused to even let me know if my preferred hotels are available. Since I had already paid Rs 1198 for 2 vouchers, I decided to take further risk and again deposited Rs 7, 000
      5) Once I deposited all the money, again they became unresponsive. Till today i.e. 19th June I ahve not heard back.

      This is full 2 weeks of wasted effort for a travel booking that does not take more then 10 minutes on any other travel website.
      I have heard from others that Travelport use similar delay tactics. Thus they will come back to you every 10-15 days and tell you that your preferred hotel is not available and ask you to send a new list. Thus, you will end up going in circles.

      Please be cautious while buying any such voucher from Snapdeal and Travelport.

        Hi,

        I made shopping in Well Home authorized shop. I got holiday voucher of TravelPort Holidays India Pvt. Ltd. because of this shopping. I mentioned 3 prefered location and 3 prefered dates on voucher and sent to company's office. But those locations and dates are not availbale with them, so they returned voucher to me and told to send aagin after some days. I sent it again with new dtes and location but that time also those locations and dates are not available. Then I was ready to adjust dates for my prefered location. That time they gave me hotel where I have to pay for meal compulsary. Company is charging Rs. 799/- processing fee + hotel meal charges Rs. 1200/-. Then how I will get benefit of holiday gift voucher?
        I don't know how company like Welspun doing type with such a worst company TravelPort Holidays India Pvt. Ltd. I spend twice courier charges to send this voucher.

          This Complaint is against wrong deal of M/s Travel Port Holidays India Pvt. Ltd, Andheri (W), MUMBAI.

          Against their two vouchers for Thailand they are pressing and harassing me to pay more than the cost,

          After my long correspondence with CEO Mr. Javed and Director Mr. Vijay they agreed but now they want extra payment from me.

          This cancellation is becouse of the wrong booking as booking is not as per the schdule given and mailed to me by Minal of Travel Port.

          Now after long harresment I request for entire free trip for two against these vouchers.

          The claim by Mr Agarwal is outrageous .We have enough documented proof to establish th efact that his claims are bogus and is trying to blackmail the company into making good a voucher which is invalid and to not pay the taxes as prescribed .

          He has done this in the past and the company acceded to his request as an exception but now he is making that into an habit .He has been continually harassing employees at TravelPort

          Hope you have forums for companies to ward such blackmailing customers

          1) against the reply of Travel Port That -

          The claim by Mr Agarwal is outrageous .We have enough documented proof to establish th efact that his claims are bogus and is trying to blackmail the company into making good a voucher which is invalid and to not pay the taxes as prescribed


          (a) M/s Travel Port Please produce the documented proof to establish the facts

          (b) Please also produce the evidence that I am denied to pay Taxes as prescribed.



          I am not demanded any thing in free with this Travel Port till date but he is harreshing and torching me to pay extra money for the mistake which is done by their staff.

          On April 19th, 2010 they forwarded me the entire schedule of my trip with full details of flights and times, arrival and departure time, extra charges for my Jain Veg Food etc and accordingly I agreed as per the mail copy of Minal of Travel Port.

          BUT ON ABOUT 17Th MAY I COME TO KNOW THAT THEY BOOKED MY TICKETS WITH DIFFERENT SCHEDULE WITHOUT TACKING MY PERMISSION[protected] Should I produce the mail copy of Travel Port dated 17th May 2010

          WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THESE[protected] WHO IS BLACKMAILING MR. VIJAY[protected][protected]

          WHY YOU WANT AND AGREED TO EXTEND MY TRIP IN THE OF JULY 2010 if my voucher is expired.

          FOR THIS EXTENSION WHY YOU WANT EXTRA CHARGES FROM ME -------- Should I produce your last mail copy of 10th JULY 2010.

          NOW WHO IS THE BLACK MAILER MR. VIJAY

Whereas when i asked in darjeeling hotel, they are telling that booking amount is not given by travelport so they will not accept my confirmation voucher.

            Hello everyone who is reading this mail

            I am Gopal Dwivedi and my Mobile number is [protected] and i am a Blackberry user.
            at the time of buying the handset the Mobile Store offer me this handset along with a 1 year movie card.
            he promised me that this card will help me to see 12 movies with my wife , one each month.

            To my complete dissatisfaction and surprise, i got the first month ticket on one request and then
            things become worst.

            second month, May-2010 i request for the movie tickets for "Kites" and twice the request become faliure due to
            some stupid server reason from your side, I am a person who get only one holiday in a week and i waited for the whole day for the confirmation
            for the Kites movie and at every one hour i called and some one from your end promise me, 'Sir u will get tickets" but nothing happen and my whole
            day gone waste and mood too.

            Third month , June-2010 i request the executive "Pratibha nachare" that please give me the tickets of "Rajneeti", and at the same time i clearly mention that i didn't get any ticket for May so please issue 4 tickets, I plan for a good day with my "Mother, Aunt and wife" to show them "Rajneeti"

            To my surprise I got tickets of the "Lowest first row corner of the cinema hall" , where no one wish to see movie and even you can not see the movie properly, for me it was so Shameful situation in front of my family members that i even can not face them. I immediately went to ticket window and he simply denied to do anything on this even he has Many blank seats in the hall.

            I pay money from my pocket and purchase 4 tickets and then missed 15 minuted movie and then some how balance situation.

            I wrote 3 mails after next day and till date no one reply me back.

            Today i call pratibha nachare and ask for the number of senior and she didnt give me any number and said senior is not one seat and cut the phone.

            I am also working a service base company as Vice President but i never assume such situation of a customer after purchase a product and then regrets. Today i am simply at a situation where i can not do anything. This is the last mail I am forwarding you, then I will go back to the Mobile store and return the Blackberry as I dont wish to Pay a single penny for such insulting situation and shame in front of family.

            Adding to the below mail when i try to contact some one senior from Travel port toll free number

            I got reply that we are not responsible for your ticket allocation "Means you sit any where, even in first lowest row, we are giving you tickets, thats it"

            "Dikshita - Sr manager replied me that she can not do anything in this matter, after asking her the senior name and number, she simply refuse to give any number and introduce one more name Ms Shabnam as Sr Supervisior.

            at the end, no one is bother about the client and the dissatisfaction, I got cheated and pay money for movie.

            I wish to share with all of member of Travel port that please take proper action for my refund of 4 tickets otherwise I will take proper action.

            Hope u take some action or reply me ASAP

              Hi,

              I got a travelport voucher for 2 night 3 days holiday as a gift with gitanjali jewellery.

              When I tried to book the vacations, I came to know that I have to pay Rs. 798 for handling charges.(why is it so).

              Secondly when I send them the DD in favour of Travelport holidays pvt, ltd., they said me to change it to Travelport holidays india pvt. ltd., then I sent them again.

              then they told me that we dont have any vacancy in sikkim for nov in any of the hotels mentioned in the voucher.

              But when I went to that hotel directly, I got the room and also the hotel was having only 2 room occupied at that time (myself and one more family).

              I want to know why you people are ruining people money without any reason.
              ( I almost spent 60 rupees for two times courier and also two times of cancellation of DD i.e. 200 rupees).

              Earlier I was thinking to get the whole trip planned by travelport for sikkim, but after the experience I have got, I went there directly.

              I think, its a very big fraud that company is doing with people of india.

              1.This is a special promotion voucher that comes with the conditions which are pre decided with the company that runs the offer

              a.Handling and utility charges is one of the mandatories as mentioned in the voucher

              b.You are required to give 3 date and destination options and 21 days notice ( In your case there were no destination options ).This we take as these are special offers and not all rooms are available under this offer

              c.The cheque name is a technical issue .We regret if we communicated it wrongly .
              but it would require us to have the right name on the cheque to encash it .

              If for any reason you have not utilised the voucher and paid us utility charges we will be more than happy to help you use the same and ensure that your next experience with us is much better .

                  I do not think there is enough awareness for the customer satisfaction from Travelport ppl.

                  I still face lot more issue interacting with the customer care numbers.

                  I made the payment and want to confirm about it. For past 2 weeks everyday I am calling up your customer care numbers and each time the representative says that she will call back and I don't see any call.

                  I also mailed on [protected]@travelport.in. It just reverted with auto-generated mail saying, "Your query will be solved. In case it is not, please contact customer care number"

                  I am not going to use/promote the travelport here after.
                  So true, very poor service by the customer care representatives.!
                  ive been calling travelport since past one and a half month now, for a watch against a coupon i got with my blackberry, and i am still regretting my decision why i couriered the Demand Draft and Coupon.
                  tried contacting in all possible ways, mail, phone. People there dont bother attending calls.

                  Even i second Satyam, i am never going to use or promote such a lame organization.
                  I am also one of you. Travelport customer support not given positive feedback. I called many time and waste my money but they guys not give response me and even when I called you again they were scowled on me.

                    A marketing SMS at 2:24am in the night !

                    SMS sent from [protected] asking to contact Travelport Balaji on [protected] for a Holiday at Goa at Ramada.

                    Tried calling Viren Shah, Javed Akkhtar on [protected] but phone was switched off.

                    Tried calling Deepak Shantaram Chalke on[protected] but phone was switched off.

                    Nice, they sleep and send u SMS in the middle of the night.

                    Sorry for the trouble .The reason given to us was that it happened due to late deliveries of sms due to Diwali .

                      I had received travelport holiday package as a gift from the Mobile Store.
                      On sending the completely filled voucher, it was returned back saying i had mentioned a single destination instead of two different destinations. (Though "Goa" and many others were mentioned as differerent destinations against different hotels in their DESTINATIONS head in the voucher).
                      On inquiring, they bluntly refused to entertain any query once the voucher is rejected.
                      They had even not searched for the availability of the accomodation for the 1st destinations.
                      It seemed that they are waiting for any minor mistakes by the claimer and they can refuse on vague grounds.
                      I even asked them to modify my destinations if they think it unfits their rules but in vain.
                      The strange answer i got from the customer care lady was "WE ARE DOING BUSSINESS"... Sorry!!!

                      In response to your complaint i would request you to get in touch with me on[protected] .I will ensure that this issue is addressed .To our defense i would only like to give some reasons why bookings are denied, while this may not have been so in your case .

                      1.Bookings Forms forms are incomplete
                      2.The voucher has expired .

                      You will appreciate that these are timebound special offers and subject to time restrictions laid down in the terms as well as conditions imposed by hotels .

                      However inspite of that we our customer service should have addreesed the issue with more care .

                      I agree with you, this company is a cheater company. They offer promos to attract people but find all loopholes to avoid their obligations.
                      Snapdeal and Travelport and fleecing customers and you should be beware:

                      1) Snapdeal has been selling a hotel voucher from some agent called travelport offering 4 night stay for Rs 4099. They also carry a long list of hotels across India and customer can choose from any of them
                      2) Snapdeal takes advance payment of Rs 599 for the voucher and asks you to pay remaining Rs 3, 500 to Travelport
                      3) I purchased 2 vouchers on 5th Jun from snapdeal and emailed the same to travelport on 6th June. I choose the hotel dates in last week of August which was 3 month ago. This, was to make sure that I get the booking in my preferred hotel.
                      4) I kept on trying to contact them with no response, . Finally on 11th June, I got the bank account details from travelport where they wanted me to deposit remaing amount. They refused to even let me know if my preferred hotels are available. Since I had already paid Rs 1198 for 2 vouchers, I decided to take further risk and again deposited Rs 7, 000
                      5) Once I deposited all the money, again they became unresponsive. Till today i.e. 19th June I ahve not heard back.

                      This is full 2 weeks of wasted effort for a travel booking that does not take more then 10 minutes on any other travel website.
                      I have heard from others that Travelport use similar delay tactics. Thus they will come back to you every 10-15 days and tell you that your preferred hotel is not available and ask you to send a new list. Thus, you will end up going in circles.

                      Please be cautious while buying any such voucher from Snapdeal and Travelport.

                        I have purchased a mobile phone from Termina an electronic goods outlet for SALORA. They have a scheme associated with that conducted by Travelport Holidays India Pvt. Ltd. I won a Gold coin in November during that shceme. They have written in that voucher that they will deliver the coin in 4 weeks its now 5th Feb 2009 till now I have not recieved the coin. I have called them many times they are saying give us some more time give us some more time. It has been going like this since last month. Please help me how can I get my gold coin.

                        I have submitted mobile gift voucher almost 2 months back. I have received call from Ms.Urvi from travel port confirming dates 8 to 11 March to Mt. ABU Almost 20 days back ie on 3rd or 3th of Feb(appx) Today ie on 23/02/09 I enquired about confirmation proof either physical copy or email confirmation she arrogantly said when I have verbaly confirmed why you need proof. If required i will send it now. Please tell me without any proof how do i do any rail or air booking. I will be travelling with my wife and 3 years daughter. I can not take any chance while travelling with small child.

                        I ask her to cancell the booking she arrogently said i will cancell the booking and send your voucher back and banned the telephone. Is this a way to talk to a customer who is working in service industry. I am not a begger that i expect such type of treatment from Ms. Urvi.

                        I expect some decent treatment from the staff from service industry.

                          Dear sir/Mam

                          I Sandeep Verma won a Rs 10, 000 Gift Cheque through travelport holidays scheme in October 2008.
                          They promised to deliver the cheque by 6 weeks(one and a half month). But now it has been more than four months. Every time I call at the given number they say you will get cheque in 2 weeks. it has been going like this since last 2 months. Please Help me how to get my assured gift.
