My service complaint no. (1) GHAZ[protected] dated 28.08.23; (2) GHAZ[protected] dated 01.09.23 closed as per them I have disapproved services. Although it is not so. A fresh complaint(3) vide no GHAZ[protected] dated 04.09.23 again lodged. Let’s see their response.
My problem is – the burners are not consuming full gas and PNG smell comes while cooking. A ring is formed at the inner circle of burner and when unburn gas collected near this ring it burnt with loud thud. This may be vulnerable and fire safety hazard.
The technician who attended the complaint made a video and sent it to his senior who in turn gave a verdict which is as follows:
The service centre technician says my utensils are faulty and there is no problem with the burner/stove.
My age is more than seventy and my oldest utensil is four decades old and all the utensils were perfect before replacement to this Prestige Royal stove some three weeks ago. My oldest gas stove was brought around 1972.
The utensils - but natural have curved bottom as per Indian style of cooking and some of them may not have flat bottom.
I feel there may be either of the following reasons which needs to be attended
1. Drilling of nozzles while converting them from LPG to PNG faulty
2. Pan support is not perfect and makes mixing of PNG and air in improper ratio
3. Burners sent may be of other model
I request a renowned company like Prestige will look to my problem not as problem of an individual but from the design angle and from the workmanship of their technicians.
Moreover closing service request without attending is unethical and service centre should be asked for this.
