I ordered Prestige PGMFB 800 Watt Grill Sandwich Toaster in January 2020. The product was delivered in broken condition. After multiple calls at the nearest center, the customer care has been totally unhelpful. I escalated the matter using an email and then they contacted me in November 2020 (after 11 months). Yesterday, they claim to have repaired it. However, smoke and fumes are generated when we switch on the machine. Upon a second complaint and physical visit to the service center, the service center claims that fumes and smoke are expected. So, basically Prestige is claiming that sandwich makers generate smokes and fumes. This is a classic example of poor product and horrible customer service. No one attends us at the service center. In fact, no one even cares to answer the customer while the customer waits at the service desk. The service center head deliberately disconnects the call repeatedly and lies about his manager unavailability. Though the product is well under warranty period, they behave very poorly. I believe this is done to exhaust the warranty period and earn more. Kindly help on this matter. Was this information helpful? | |||
