Warm Greetings !!!
This is DINAKAR from Urapakkam(Chennai), I have decided to purchase a bike. My uncle refer me the NEW Star city+ is superb and stylish. I have purchased New TVS STAR CITY+ on 10-Feb-2016 (10 months) in NANDEESH MOTORS, GUDUVANCHERRY-603202 by cash delivery. I have let my bike for service 5 times (5 free service) which is totally waste. Now i feel that why i purchased the Star city+ bike or the service given to me is wrong. Such an Waste, waste service given to me.
I have received my manual book and tool kit at the time of my 2nd service and there is no warranty card for battery, i have asked them they told that you can claim using the purchase bill.
1. At each service i used to say the same problem i had faced, once the bike i start and put the gear (without giving accelerate) the bike automatically move and get off. This i have complained at my four free services. They simply said there is no problem. I have changed the clutch plate with the help of private mechanic in private showroom. Now my vehicle is going smoothly.
2. Now another issue at the time of 5th service, battery is dead no self start working and total waste service. Always getting a type of roar sound on driving. I have approached the TVS service center and asked about warranty on battery they says warranty covers for only 6 months at the time of purchase only. Now iam riding my vehicle using kick start.
I approached a battery dealer for new one he says while purchasing a new battery the warranty covers for min 36 months for a new battery.
He told me to approach the service center to claim the warranty on my battery warranty which will be claimable for a min of 1 year. After service they are asking feedback on telephone call about their service done, I have clearly told them that hereafter i will not let my vehicle in this particular showroom for any other service.
Now i need a explanation from your side team, what is wrong with my side
1. The TVS bike i purchased is wrong or the service given by them is wrong.
I have told them that i will file a complaint against this on consumer court but no response from them. what should i do ?
You can verify my service card at 4 services which i have mentioned the specific complaint. Iam waiting for a good reply on this and how can i claim my warranty on battery and how i will refer for others if they asked about TVS bikes.
