I booked 7 bikes in the month of June and deposited 8000 as a security deposit. at that time they said I was going to be refunded after 15 days but they never did ill this time (after a month). I kept on calling them and kept on hold and not reverting back. they gave some days and that day they did not reply

I booked rana cabs rental car while visiting india for a month. I did return the car as per agreement on Jul 24th 2023 but have been waiting for refund till today. Their policy says you will get security deposit refund after 15-20 days but it has been a nightmare following up with them for same.

Even I have to pay double toll tax as their fast tag stops working.

Then their scam began, after 15 days there was no initiation of refund or update about why it is delayed. I contacted them and they said it'll be done next 1 or 2 days. Days became months and now its 11th of September and still no refund received.

Due to the inclement weather conditions I was stuck in HP almost at the same place for 5 nights so the car was driven hardly for 1100 kms across 11 days.

Also their ETC TAG does not work. I had to pay DOUBLE TOLL IN CASH at 4 Toll plazas. The total Tax recipt for HP was of 1120 rupees and they have charged me 2600 rupees towards tax and toll fees at the begining of the trip itself.

Their representative J P SINGH is the biggest fraud and does not answer calls or replies to messages. Even if he does the reply is the same. Kal Ho Jayega... Check Kartay Hain.

Guys these guys are total scamsters and frauds. Nothing professional about them. Please use other agencies for your rentals. Thanks

They are not giving my security back, I have called many times but they are kept on giving me other phone numbers. It been over 1 and half month that i am chasing them

Then their scam began, after 15 days there was no initiation of refund or update about why it is delayed. I contacted them and they said it'll be done next 1 or 2 days. Days became week and week became month. But they paid zero heed to the request. Every-time same reply will be done today. We have the payment ready it'll be done by today evening. But all those confirmations were just to ignore the request and pass time. They stopped replying to my messages on Whatsapp and stopped taking calls as well, until I contacted their other number. Today I am writing this because it has taken a toll on my mental health and the audacious reply I got today was that it'll be done today and if not done please connect again around 7:30PM. And a pattern which I noticed was that they turn off their refund phone number after 7PM. Another incident was that when I said I shall come to your office to collect the refund on Saturday then they said that it'll be done on Saturday and if not done come on Sunday and it'll be processed. But on Sunday the person who handles refunds doesn't come, which they confirmed on Sunday while I about to leave for their office and called them to confirm. This shows how little to no value and respect they have for the customers and their time.
I have screenshots of the chats and number of calls I made to this company. If you need them to verify my claim, let me know.
Only resolution I request is the Refund. Because it was the last time I and our traveler community booked a car from any Rental platform. A suggestion to fellow readers. Rent cars from your friends or known people then these companies if you do not want to go through this trauma and becoming a beggar for your own money.

We (Navroz Balsara, Cheri Jacob, Amit Bhandari and Ruturaj Potnis) have rented 4 bikes from Rana Cabs from 15-19th November 2022. They took a security deposit of Rs.8000 (Rs.2000 per bike) and assured us that the same will be refunded after 15 days from the date of returning the bikes.

We have been following up for our refund since the first week of December and get the same response everyday - your refund will be processed,...

I rented a car from rana cabs on[protected]. car cluth is dnot working with something internal damage in just one hour..when we talked to owner he said that he is busy with personal matters n give me number of another person i said to call him.i called that person and told about whats happend, said for towing truck for car, we paid later for your payments.after we reached rana cabs, they denied to pay towing truck owner, and said to me paid first to him, we refund you money later after all paper work.i paid 5000 towing truck owner.next morning, they didnot pick my phone, when i went there, they refused to give me towing truck money which i given to them. even guy is very rude to me.after some discussion they aggreed to repay me 8000 including my security deposit..they said we will transfer after 15 days, but i didnot get any money till this date..when i called always said sir our server is down or we will pay you next day. its still 4 days they just say next day evening...how many days you want...plz refund..

I Booked two bikes on 10th September 2022, returned the bikes in as it is condition on 15th September 2022r. They said they will return full deposit amount after 15 days.

Since 1st october 2022, i am following up with them on almost every single day. They are making some non sense excuses. They are not returning the deposit amount. I have all the proofs with me.

Last week I also went to their office the owner was not their so his worker made talk to me on the phone & then he said just wait for 1 day I will return your security amount & now again they are doing the same thing, not answering the calls .

I Booko a bike from them on 11 August 2022 for which we deposited the security amount of 5000 that we are supposed to get back after 15 days i.e. 30th August 2022 after verification police challan.

Today is 29 September 2022 but till date they didn't refund our security amount. At time of refunding their bike we also cross confirm from them about the bike condition on which they said all good. But inspite of all okay they are not refunding our amount.

It's very pathetic experience with Rana Cabs pvt. Ltd.

I returned the car booked by the name of Anil Kumar on 12th June 2022 and today is 20th July 2022 and I haven't received my refund of Rs. 10, 000 back. At the time of booking, I was informed that the security amount will be refunded in 15 days. I would request to process my refund on priority. I am continuously following up with Mr. Lalit from your team but every time there is one or another excuse.

This was the 1st and the last mistake I made that I took an Activa on rent from Rana Cabs Pvt Ltd. They are running an organized scam behind this business. 1st they will ask you to deposit the security amount for the vehicle saying its needed for traffic police challan and it will be returned in 15 days. Then when you will return their vehicle they will not pick your call and even if they pick they will always say that they will send deposit tomorrow (which never comes) Though i have also filed a complaint in consumer court against them. The money is not important, its how they will ultimately cheat you which gives a disgusting feeling that you believed on someone and played your part honestly.
I do not need money, but just want to beware other people so that they do not fall in the same trap. PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM.
For most bad reviews they will say its a fake review did by their competitors, but they are running it as an organized scam and looting people. You will find many GENUINE options in Chandigarh for Bike renting. Avoid-Avoid & 100% avoid this man & company to save your money & holiday enjoyment. Mother ### Joginder. I hired 04 bikes from this ### joginder & he asked me to pay full rent in cash to give us discount & also he took security amount in cash Rs. 50000 & never return always give excuses.
He is a GUNDA & also doing some illegal things like selling heroine, hasish & send his wife to sleep with other people for money.

Please avoid taking any vehicles from Rana cabs. Joginder is a fraud guy. We took a RE for rent and had paid 10K deposit for the same. After the trip he did not return the deposit for 2 months. He had always kept giving excuses and even showed a fake deposit text from the bank that he has already deposited.

We had had to send few of our friends at Chandi to his office to recover the money. Please dont take any vehicle from him. He is just good at talking. Never believe his words. Its better you dont handover the bike until he returns your deposit by CASH !...
