Hello,
I purchased Tvs Apache 160R on dec'2009. starting bike condition was good and day by day get lot of problems with the bike.
when i approach servicing center they just replace the parts with new ones thts it. they dont resolve the problem. i came to understand there is no good mechanics in Gopal TVS. (Mechanic means they resolve the problem but ther just replace with new part) and they billed for every customer.

I already given complaints to TVS but no one responding from few days. what to do now ?

Tvs Apache 160 — not getting parts and not good fuel service

    I bought a bike

    Really it useless bike, I don’t recommend to buy it anymore.It is giving us lot of problems, my wife is crying at me, as to why we bought this brand new bike pep+.
    It has been stopping all of sudden on the middle of the road, if we try to restart then even it doesn’t restart by any means .Not sure how should I take that vehicle to show room by then, that too during the rainy days , the probelm is more intensive.I visited to show room Manytimes by putting the leave to my office.Even sepcific complaint has been raised whenever i used to leave for service Sri Vignes motors in Triplicane showroom ( Chennai ), the problem remains same.Simply adusting air lock pin , and making it started that time , showing it is ready now, sir...if you face same probem again please bring back to show room ..this is the one, which is a big comedy feed back they give us as complementary service.

    They never identified the problem, which reflects their poor service and poor standards of TVS company ..I am crying now as I lost my hard earned money of INR 48000/- including all accessories .They never truned up for customer satisfaction or complaints after it’s sale. I will escalate this to the higher level and pls dont force me to do the same

      I have purchased tvs king (three wheeler) on april 2012 .

      contact no.[protected] , [protected] I purchased the tvs king cng (three wheeler) on april 2012 but after one month my three wheeler suffering from big problem my three wheeler engine is damage and after six month my three wheeler suffering from very big problem my three wheeler engine open three time.I had requested many times about this to the showroom staff but none of them is responding.I called tvs motor co. But no responding.I called again to again mr.Navneet from tvs motor co. But no any response.My three wheeler is under warranty.But under six month my total invest amount to my three wheeler approx(15000 rs.). I request to the concerned authorities to take the corrective steps against my
      problem & fix it as soon as possible.

        I had given my new TVS wego for service at kubera motors on Sarjapur road,once they have stealed the mirror and next time,they have replaced the petrole distribution unit near engine due to which my vehicle is giving lot of trouble nowadays.I ma scared to go again to them as I dont want to lose anything more.

        I suggest everyone,not to go for any TVS products rather you can go for the standard brands as you know...

            Subject: Complaint regarding delivering June 2010 Model of TVS Jive Bike as a Brand new Bike
            Chassis No MD625AV16A1F41160 Engine No. OV1FA1041473.
            Sir,
            I was interested to buy a Bike therefore; I visited TVS Authorised Dealer’s showroom at Sector 22 Chandigarh, with my family on 02/8/2012. The salesman introduced us the different Models available in the showroom. We liked the TVS Star City Bike. Then he showed us TVS Jive Bike .He introduced it as a new technology latest Model Bike with Auto Clutch facility. Since I was not too much acquainted with Bikes, I just relied on his words and purchased a TVS Jive Bike considering and relying the salesman’s verdict, as it being the latest available technology bike in the Market. The cost of the Bike was calculated by the Sales man as follows: Cost of the Bike = Rs. 46700 + Accessories Rs.600 + Temp. Registration no. Rs.100. On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan the Dealer had made an advertisement in leading newspapers to offer free Insurance with all purchases of Vehicles. Therefore I made a cash withdrawal from the ATM at Sector 22 Near Aroma Hotel and made a Cash payment of Rs.20000/- and a Cheque No.986809,dated Monday 06/8/12 for Rs.27400/- as the total and final payment towards the said Bike. The vehicle was delivered to me,but the Bill was retained by the Dealer salesman, with the promise to deliver Bill it after the realization of the Cheque. Since the Accessories were not readily available with him he also promised to send his representative with the Accessories viz Leg Gaurd and Seat Cover etc. at my residence the next day. I telephoned the showroom several times, but was repeatedly told that the Accessories were presently not available and will be made available in due course of time, or I may purchase the Accessories from the market and get the refund on account of payment made in Advance in respect of Accessories. I got the Accessories fixed from other TVS Sub- dealer at Kalka- Pinjore Road (Haryana). On seeing my Vehicle the Mechanic told me that the Jive Model is not of the current version ,and I have been cheated by the Dealer delivering me an old bike of Model 2010 saying it as a latest version Bike.. I personally approached the Dealer on 10/8/2012 to get the Bill and refund of my payment made on Account of Accessories. I was made a cash refund of Rs.600/- on account of Accessories through a voucher. When enquired regarding the Model, I was once again told that the model is latest of July 2012 as depicted in Sale Certificate. He issued me Invoice No.377, wherein Price of Vehicle =Rs.41511 Discount Rs.1255 =Rs 40256 +Vat 12.50% i.e. Rs 5032 .Total Invoice Amount =45288, along with Insurance cover note No. CHD/11/No. 473763, dated 02/8/2012 of Rs.1255/- mentioning year of manufacture of vehicle as 2012. Temporary Registration no. CH 50(T) 3812. But the Owners Warranty and Services manual with coupon no.7080 depicts Model Code:-JE2010. Therefore not being satisfied, I got the Bike thoroughly checked from a Private Mechanic once again today. To my surprise the Bike confirmed to be manufactured in June’2010 as is evident from stickers on the Chassis. Many parts of the Chassis and its nuts and bolts have started rusting and the rubber parts have developed cracks. Immediately, I contacted the concerned Dealer Sh. Narinderjit Singh, Director, CMPL, Motors PVT. LTD. on his mobile No. [protected] and conveyed him the whole matter, regarding been cheated by delivering a 2 year old June’ 2010 Model Jive Bike to me, convincing me to be a brand new Bike on papers. He has assured me that, he shall get the matter investigated and bring it to the notice of the Company and get the vehicle changed with a latest current Model / Month and Year of Manufacturing.
            In above connection, I am making this written complaint to you to do justice immediately. You are requested to investigate the whole matter and send me certificate in respect of the Model /Month and Year of Manufacturing of the above cited Bike after verifying your company records of the above mentioned Chassis No. & Engine No. of Jive Bike. You are also requested to do justice of by instructing above Dealer to take back the old Model Bike and either make full refund of my Payment or Replacing the Vehicle with the new latest Model / Month Year of Manufactured Bike. Your early action in the matter is solicited, preferably within 10 days, failing no action from your end, I shall be constrained to take legal action against the Dealer and the Company and file a case with the Chandigarh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

              I want to share the experience which i am facing from past 6 months with Apache RTR 160 Hyper edge... I prefer saying not TVS Racing but TVS Worst/Troubling. At the beginning when i got the bike from MHD Showroom (Chintal Basti) the problem was there at the first day itself. it was said to me that everything will be cleared at the first servicing and not to cross the speed of 60km/ph before the first 2 servicing and i followed so. but after every single service i had to get the bike again back to the servicing center saying the problem still exist. I use to give my bike for servicing at MDH servicing center only at Cintal Basti. The total free service is 5 and i have done with 9 free service in which still 1 free service pending because as i said after every free service i have to get my bike back to servicing point and give stating the same problem is still there. this really has wasted my time and money.

              My observation was that after my describing the problem also the servicing center personals didn't bother to re-check the complaints which i mentioned in there Job-Card and it was observed that after my coming back to servicing center the problems were still existing and they called me up saying that servicing is done, all problems are rectified and covered and on that day i came to know that just cleaning of external parts are know as servicing....

              is this the servicing standard of TVS???

              thanks to TVS for giving such a problematic Bike for me.

                TVS Motors is a cheating company, Worst Product, cheating dealers, and worst service centers.
                Even after 5 services TVS Motors is incapable for servicing my bike.
                This is regarding my previous complaint ref no 12460.
                I will sell my bike and I will not use any other TVS products in my life time and will not suggest to anyone.

                  I HAVE TVS APACHE RTR 160 I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE ON 10/02/2012. IN THAT TIME IAM FACING THE PROBLEMS IN MY BIKE STILL. IN THE SERVICE CENTRE THEY RECTIFING BUT ANOTHER PROBLEM WHILE RISES TO ME. IAM ASK THE TVS APACHE ENGINEERTHEY TOLD IN 1000 OF THE VEHICLE IN THAT ONLY ONE OF THE BIKE IS DEFECT.TODAY WHILE IAM GOING TO HOUSE THE CULTCH LEVER WAS BROKEN. WHAT IS THIS ? WHY WAS SUCH TYPE OF SPARE PARTS DONE IN COMPANY. IN SERVICE CENTRE IN THAT CULTCH LEVER THERE IS NO WARRNTY PART. THIS IS UR MANUFACTURING DEFECT. IN THE 1000 OF BIKE ONE OF THE BIKE IS DEFECT. WHY SHOULD YOU RELEASE SUCH DEFECT OF BIKE IN COMPANY RELEASE TO SHOW ROOM. AND MORE THING IN THE SPARE PARTS THE TVS APACHE BIKE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SERVICE CENTRE. THEN WHY SHOULD YOU RELEASE SUCH TYPE OF BIKES SPARE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SERVICE CENTRES.IN THE SPARE PARTS ARE NOT GOOD QUALITY.
                  IAM JUST MISS A ACCIDENT OCCUR TO ME ON THE DAY.
                  IAM ASK THE TVS APACHE ENIGNEER WHY THIS PROBLEMS ARE FACING. THEY TOLD IN 1000 OF BIKE ONE OF THE BIKE IS DEFECT. IAM NOT SATISFIE THE BIKE.

                  TVS APACHE RTR BLACK — WORST SERVICE & SPARE

                  Dear M/s;Tvs motor,
                  I am S. Elamaran from Chennai. I have purchased a Black colour Apache RTR160 Reg No. TN09 B 3484 - before three months from M/s.Maruthi Motors (TVS DEALER), West Mambalam. From past 3 weeks i am facing a problem in clutch switch. Given my Bike twice to them. They rectify the problem, But after a day again the same problem arise. And They charge the Clutch Switch Cost, even it in warranty. They are saying due to Rain - switch is gone. How it can be - Any electronic items switch having proper Insulation to prevent the rain and dust. They how ??? Service is very very worst & people also not well in service. I am litterally unhappy with the service of Maruti Motors service. Please solve my issue with urgent...

                    My name is mahesh .Iam purchase a tvs wego scotter from Arathy motors kozhencherry pathanamthitta on[protected].
                    In my insurance paper there is a correction in that, i return given to the manager of arathy motors for correction
                    on[protected].After one week they don't return given that paper.At last i went there for enquiry they argue with
                    me and use bad words ,and they told they will give paper for ther willing only.Sir i am a TVS customer last 5 years.
                    Sir this type of dealer are spoil your company's name.Like this they behave with other's one one purchase your company's
                    product.I hope you will take action aganist them.

                      From the day i bought the scooter i am facing the "engine off while riding" problem regularly. Every time they say they fixed it but it still persist. The service is very very poor and they lie every time. Being a girl i have little idea about engine problems. Please help me. The dealer is far away from my home and it is a pain going there and waiting the day long and they don't fix the problem, just lie that it is fixed. I was about to meet with an accident because of this problem. Waiting for you help.

                        reallly...never think of tvs..
                        i have got this tvs wego after seeing many reviews and promise made by show room person... but i had so many disappointment about this bull-sheet wego...the very first problem is battery and service this vehicle.. i have changed two battery within a year.. and every time when you left service foe this vehicle they simply made water wash only..no brake drum cleaning, cable adjustment not done...one more very very important draw back about this scooter is driving dynamics...i promise you that u cant drive this stupid scooter more than 50kmph.. very very poor braking and control...another important issue is suspension... very very bumpy on normal indian road...s please donot choose this scooter even i[censored] get it for free..

                          Dear TVS,

                          I have purchased TVS APACHE RTR 180(MD634KE68C2D26241/OE6DC2152800) from HEM TVS, Satara on 25th May, 2012. I went to many other company showrooms and then decided on purchasing TVS APACHE RTR 180 based on the presales service I got at the showroom. This is because I did not see the same service from other motor company showrooms. Specially Mr. Mhaske at the showroom gave me all the details about the bike and even offered me a test ride without even I requesting one, which made the difference and affected my purchase decision.

                          I was a happy owner of APACHE RTR 180 for last one month, but seems like my honeymoon with my bike was only for one month. It changed into a Nighmare when I went to get the first free service today morning. I was there at the right time that is 15 Min before 9:30 as they don't take the bike for servicing after 11:00 A.M and on Sundays. What I found out that there was no one at the service reception counter for almost half an hour. After half an hour some one came to the reception and starting filling out the Job Cards and taking notes of the issue faced by various customers including myself. When my turn came, I told him that this is my first service and I am facing the below mentioned issues and everything else is fine,

                          1.) The kick start lever was very hard to use rendering it useless.
                          2.) The left side Mirror was not remaining in it`s place and use to rotate for no reason.
                          3.) When we start the bike in first gear the clutch was to released completely so that it engages.
                          4.) Also suffered few fake neutrals between 4-5 gear.
                          5.) I also requested to adjust the handle bar so that it is some what towards the rider if possible
                          6.) I also requested for the rear Mudguard fender which I thought was an optional accessory, but it seems to be otherwise.

                          I was told to come at 1:30 P.M for getting the delivery of the bike. I cam at around 2:00 P.M and requested for the delivery of the bike as well as asked the guy there about the rear fender the nice guy at the service station told me that I should have received one at the time of delivery, which I didn't. The guy then arranged for the fender and gave it to me. I then requested him is it possible to attach the fender, this was when the nightmare started. He replied very rudely that he will not do it as there are other bikes to be services. I said ok i no problem, I will try to do it myself or bring it tomorrow or during the next service and get it attached.

                          This done I then requested for delivery of the bike and paid the Rs. 375 /- bill(oil+oil filter) and took the delivery challan. I then went to the security to get my keys. He gave me some keys which I instantly recognized as not being mine. I told him the same, but i got the response that as the key has got some token number 36 attached it is my key. I then very politely told the security guy that this is not my key and it seems to be misplaced and let me check. I went through the box and found out the correct key.

                          I thought it is fine and this may happen some times so not a very big issue. I then went to my bike and tried to start the bike, I tried both the starters (Kick as well as self start) but it didn't start. I then told this to the nearby mechanic and told him to look at it. That guy then starting fiddling with the bike pulling the choke and trying to start the bike. He then very harshly pulled the spark plug and blowed some air by his mouth into it. I was shocked to find out that there seemed to some water on the spark plug which is not expected. He then put the spark plug into it`s place and tried to start the bike once again. The bike was starting and stopping for which he then pulled the throttle at the extremity, which I don't suppose is right for a new bike.

                          The bike then somehow started. Seeing all this ill treatment to the bike I just wanted to leave the service center, which I did as soon as possible. Just to check if everything is fine I then rode my bike for a while and it seem to be fine. I came home and thought that may god help me and the bike is fine.

                          In the evening I once again took the bike for a ride and what i came to know is that there is some kirr. kirr sound from the rear part of my bike. Now I don't know what to do as the bike was almost fine till the first service. I am very afraid to go back to the service center and increase the ordeals I am already facing.

                          The after sales service of HEM TVS is very disappointing. Additionally now by bikes`s front is wobbling like hell at the speed range of 50-70 KM/s. Now I fell like robbed and dont know what to do next.

                            Starting Problem,Battery problem,Breaks at middle of the road

                            I have purchased a TVS Wego on feb 8 212 From Mumbai TVS Yash at Marol Andheri (East)The day i bought the bike thought its best in the market but i was wrong. Initially the Dealer told me that you will get an average of 50-55/Km But until 2nd service i used to get an average not more than 25Km/litre and i use to run the bike on highway after each service the dealer used to ensure the average would get increased gradually but it never happened...

                            Address Near Gaib Di Pulli, G.t. Road, Khanna Mandi gobindgarh Punjab.now spare parts are not available.my bike LED is broken now i need L-KEy bolt & LED of back light of my bike which is not available in your chandigarh,mohali,khanna stores,this is realy strange.if you will not able to sought i willbe raising this concern to consumer forum.I have chased some where aroung 5 Different-2 spare parts store TVS but not available.(I will suggest every body think 10 time before purchasing TVS two wheelers) regards jatinder kumar .[protected]@yahoo.co.in

                              TVS WEGO Complaint - Battery, Starting and Engine problems

                              We had purchased TVS WEGO from SPEED MOTORS CO.LTD. on 17 July, 2011 with Chassis number MD626AG48B1E60490 with engine number OG4EB1164249 with Registration number UP 32DV 1126 . Since purchasing the vehicle we have been experiencing battery problems and electric start problems. Also problems with Starting ,Speedometer reading, fuel gauge and engine noise of the vehicle has been quite high. Since first free service itself these problems have been surfacing. Presently 3 free services has been completed but still all the above problems have not been clarified.
                              But the dealership at Sathya Motors has not been able to bring the vehicle to correct running condition. The reason given by them is non-availability of parts. And they have asked us to approach the company by mail for replacement of the vehicle. Or we have the only option of going for a legal remedy.
                              So we request the concerned authorities to provide us support in this regard and provide appropriate replacement of the said vehicle. Please do the needful.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                Reference to above subject mentioned, i would like to inform you that , by MISTAKE my wife purchased A TVS-Wego from M/s. Tayal-TVS,Neelam Bata Road, Near Hotel Delite, Faridabad (Haryana)121001

                                From the very first day after taking the delivery from the showroom, it is my unfortunate, that the purchased scooty, found the Silencer of the Scooty, was damaged and we get it repair after marathon attempts ( 5-6 continuous visit to show room).

                                Later on at the time of First Service, found 2-3 dents at scooty's mudguard and asked them for the same, initially they were agreed for replace the mudguard but later on they stated for repair of the same, we agreed for the same. now after this episode after taking the delivery found some scratches on the body and fitment was not correct, because of poor fitment scooty was unbalanced and brake of the same were also very loose, for that issue , today ( 24/06/2012) re-visited the showroom and asked for these problems , the manager of the showroom has abused me physically & mentally and tried to hit me on my face.

                                Now this has over the limit , would like to request you kindly do arrange to take necessary & legal action and update me accordingly and also kindly do get the replacement of scooty ASAP.

                                  After third servicing of my bike its smooth condition was totally screwed and rear disc of my bike was starting making noise. Even after i took the bike to the service centre twice the noise problem was couldn't rectified by the service centre which is very upsetting.

                                      I am Balamurugan S serving in Army at Varanasi. I had booked my two wheeler No TN 39 BB 858 from Varanasi to Tiruppur due to my transfer in Train No 16360 Rajender Nagar to Ernakulam Exp on 15 May 2012 vide Indian Railways Parcel Receipt No P 03J 825115 dated 15 May 2012. After 12 days my two wheeler has not yet reached in destination. I have regularly contact with parcel office, some chaps said two wheeler was not unloaded at Tiruppur, likely to reach at Ernakulam. Request to trace my vehicle and do needful at the earliest
