Tvs Motor Company — dealer charging 2% extra for payment by debit card | |||
Sir, I had given my TVS Jupiter MH 09 DT 8230 to the authorized dealer, MOHAN AUTO INDUSTRIES PVT. LTD, in Kolhapur, Maharshtra (Ph;[protected] for paid servicing. For payment I used the debit card of Bank of Maharashtra for which I was forced to make 2% extra payment on the total bill of Rs. 2185. Invoice No 14007, JC No 266710 dated 27th December 2019. As per the guidelines of RBI charging extra for use of debit card is illegal, I request u to pl inform the dealer in Kolhapur to remove this extra charges on the customers and there by contribute to retain the GOODWILL the TVS Motors is having in the Market. I further request you to inform the dealer to repay me the 2% extra charges taken from me.
