My Experience with Regards to the Booking and Refund of TVS IQube
Flow of events is as follows
4th February 2022- Visited the TVS Century Showroom in Pune and took a test Drive of the IQube. After Discussion with the salesperson and finding out that it would take about two months for the delivery, I decided to book the same with great expectorations.
6th February- Booked a TVS iQube online from the TVS iQube Portal after paying the Full amount towards the vehicle.
March- Followed up with the dealer and submitted all required documents for RTO registration and was informed that the vehicle would arrive by 1st week of April
April-Followed up with dealer, and was informed that the vehicle will be delivered by last week of april
Last week of April- Followed up with dealer and was informed that vehicle will arrive by 5th of May
5th May- Received email From TVS stating that vehicle will be delivered on 8th June
Having Waited for more than 3 Months and considering the urgent need to Buy a new Vehicle, I decided to Cancel the booking for the TVS iQube and purchase another Vehicle
6th May-
1.Called the dealer for the Refund Process, Dealer said the refund will be processed from the call centre.
2. Called the Call center, RM said that since the full Payment has been made, you need to speak with dealer
3. Called the dealer Mr Ajinkya [protected] and connected the RM on call Con, after discussion RM said that they will get back to me
No Response after this
7th May
Called the call center and spoke with RM, RM requested to drop an Email to [protected]@tvsmotor.com. Sent an email requesting a refund
8th May-No Response
9th May- Reminder mail sent -No Response
10th May-Reminder mail sent- No Response
11th May- Called the Call centre, RM said the dealer will contact me regarding the Refund.
Received a call from the Dealers office Mr Shahid [protected], he provided the number for Mr Ajinkya [protected] and asked me to contact him.. I called Mr Ajinkya, he informed that I need to contact the RM for the refund, after pressing the matter further he said that he will get back to me after speaking to the Territory Manager.
24 th May -After waiting for a few days, visited the showroom, was provided the contact details of Mr Prasad [protected], the territory manager . Was promised the refund in 4 days.
5th June- Followed up with Mr Prasad for the payment who said he will get back to me.
6th June to 10th June- Mr Prasad is not receiving my calls.
So far it is still a game of Passing the Buck, but none are willing to give any written reply.
FINALLY I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF FOLLOW UP, NOW CONTEMPLATING LEGAL ACTION .
IN CASE THE TVS COMPANY WANTS TO AVOID IT KINDLY REFUND MY MONEY BEFORE THE 15TH OF JUNE
