Uber India — Charged twice for a ride paid | |||||
I had chosen an Uber ride on 26 April, wrongly chose the payment method as "Paytm" however, I paid the driver INR 141 in cash as switching payment method was not working. Today, I tried to book for an Uber cab, but it debited INR 136.29 to the driver via Paytm for the April 26 ride I already paid for, I request that you refund the INR 136.29 which is paid to the driver. Why was the payment still default even after paying the driver in cash? please refund the amount that has been charged double to my account. There must be an alternate method to track whether the passenger has paid the driver in an alternative method rather than charging the passenger twice... Was this information helpful? | |||||
