Uber India — driver charged money in cash extra for waiting time along with the updated amount in app | |
I already raised this issue with uber customer service but no use. After paying 100 in cash to the uber driver for waiting time and the trip ended my online bill got updated with the waiting time charges again. I reached out to customer care for this to compensate my amount in the bill. They simply denied saying they are not 'accountable' for payment done in cash to the driver when the option selected was paytm. First of all i'm not informed by a mail or msg or anything that my bill is updated with waiting time charge, i only realised after paying the driver. Second thing is when the driver is uber employee who else is accountable for his mistake if not them. I'm lost trust in uber and seriously disappointed with their irresponsible attitude towards customer issues. Until i get my bill compensated i'm not going to use uber app anymore. I demand justice.
