[Resolved] Uber India — driver denied the trip after knowing destination | |
I requested a uber ride for secunderabad railway station for my guest as they had to travel to delhi and from delhi to bareli, the train was scheduled at 7:50, I requested uber at 7:02 am the average expected reaching destination time was at around 7:35 which was prior 15min to board the train. Firstly when driver had to reach my location he took longer time than showed, still not reached the location I requested for, when I called him he told me that I reached the requested location but it wasn’t (as the requested location by me and location showed to him weren’t the same, it’s happens now and then by your uber app and I too faced this issue sometimes), while having conversation with driver he told me your requested location wasn’t correct by his app, by my uber app it was accurate, he was just a couple of meters far to reach me, I asked him to come forward, he asked me my destination, by knowing the destination he cancelled the trip, I strongly requested him that I have to reach in time, and the time is very less, he asked me to book another trip, he is not willing to come and cancelled the trip, in this peak time I requested another uber cab but its ETA is more to meet my criteria, that’s why I cancelled this trip got a private vehicle and rushed the railway station, after spending a lot of efforts we couldn’t reached and missed the train. This led us a loss of around 16, 000 and a day, my guest boarded train next day. About this negligence I am going to write to consumer forum to get compensation. Was this information helpful? | |
