Uber India — I missed my flight because o[censored]nprofessional driver | |||
I had a flight at 2.25 PM on sunday 9th Jun 2019. I thought I should try Uber airport pool as it takes only passenger who will be going to airport. I booked a cab before 12, thinking even in worst case it will not take more than 90 minutes from marathahally to airport. It came before 12 PM, I was the second passenger. There was already a girl. Now Driver asked me about the payment method. I said it is not cash. He askes me to cancel the ride. He told he will take me to airport as other girl was also going to airport. Now he took another passenger, and we started. Now this 3rd passenger said something to driver, He said his destination is KR puram railway station which he had already crossed. Now he had to take u turn, there was traffic on the other side. I told him I have flight at 2.25 PM but he was on his pace and played loud music which was irritating and I reached quite late. I missed my flight. As the gates are closed before 45 minutes. I reached 30 minutes before the take off. They did not take me. I had to book another flight which costed me 10792 rs and had to spend time in airport. Now who is accountable for the delay. I raised a concern on this but they did not resolve.
