Uber India — misbehaviour of driver and incorrect cancellation fee charged | |||
I would like to bring to your notice misbehaviour of your driver, naveena, who drives a honda mobilio - 9777 on 31st dec 2017. I was shifting houses and i had 6 back packs with clothes. One was a trekking bag. When he saw the luggage he refused to put it in his cab. When we asked him why he said "i cannot take it". Then we tried explaining that we will keep it on the side and not on the seat, he physically stood between the door of the car and me to stop me from keeping the luggage. He also started making faces and speaking in local language kannada, waving his hands randomly. Then, he started closing the door with me in-between. My friend pulled me back on time else the door would have hit me. When i said i will complain to uber, he said "go ahead and complain". He then cancelled the cab and we were incorrectly charged with cancellation fee of rs. 157. I am a regular customer o[censored]ber and i am appalled and angered by this behaviour. I would like to state that i am not going to pay the cancellation charges at any cost. I would also like an apology from uber for the unfair behaviour meted out to me by the driver endangering my safety. Also, i immediately updated this on the uber app under the help tab. However i have received no response since yesterday. If i do not receive a response i will have no option but to take the legal course. Thanks, aishvarya Was this information helpful? | |||
