Uber India — Not extending timely services even after scheduled booking | |||
For my today's 5.30 am journey from Pune against my scheduled advance booking o[censored]berGO for Pune railway station, the cab didn't come. Driver did not pick up any call and I got panicked and puzzled how to reach station. Finally I had to cancel the booking and had to book a new Uber cab again which I could fortunately get. Painfully Uber was prompt in claiming cancellation charge. I have a suggestion that such scheduled booking must get priority as these are normally for railway station/airports etc. Uber must ensure alternate arrangement in such cases to avoid great inconvenience to their customers.
