Uber India — Refund of fare unduly collected from me / paid in excess | |||
I reached Guwahati on 25th April 2017 at 11 am and checked in Hotel President on G.N.B. Road, near Pan bazaar. After due work outside I booked from my mobile UBER cab around 1-45pm from opposite Panbazar Girls High school to Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship at Basistha Chariali, Lalmati, 37 N.H.Bypass, Guwahati – 781029 which is aprox 24 kms and reached at 2-25 pm. As indicated & claimed by the driver we paid Rs.178.00 in cash. We had meetings with their Faculty Member & then with Admn. Officer till 4-30 pm. We then came to CCM’s office of Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon by public transport at 5-15 pm and then to our hotel after 7 pm again by public transport. Since the wifi was complementary facility provided by the Hotel, I was using the same on 26th April and booked uber cab at around 10-30 am. To my surprise it showed that a pending amount of Rs.205.38 is due from me as booking made at 2-48 pm on 25th April but could not be paid due to transaction problem. As I was to attend a tender opening assignment and in a hurry, I booked the cab which showed an estimated fare of Rs. 179.61. After reaching at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship at around 11-25 am as claim by the driver I paid Rs.285/- ( Rs.179.61 for my trip & Rs. 205.38 which unduly collected from me and I am no way responsible for this.) In view of above, I request M/s. Uber to kindly credit my a/c ( Cell no.[protected]) with due intimation to me at the earliest. Was this information helpful? | |||
