Uber India — The Driver stole my package

I booked Uber for package delivery on 31st October 2024. The driver cancelled the trip in mid way & rode away with the package. The same came to my knowledge after worrying about non-delivery for long hours. I have been chasing with Uber either to pay me 1000 rupees from drivers account balance or to update me about the action that they have taken against teh driver so that the person doesn't dupe anyone else in future, but without success.

Updated by monu_1985 Uber do not charge for such trips where the driver frauds but aren't they liable to make our loss good from drivers account balance and take action against these cons so that we don't get cheated in future.
