Dear Uber Support,
I am writing to raise a concern regarding a ride I booked on 25th July 2025 from Bima Nagar CHS, Andheri East to The Ruby Building, Dadar East.
At the time of booking, the fare estimate shown in the app was approximately ₹450–₹500. My payment method was set to Auto Pay. However, upon reviewing my account a few days later, I was shocked to see that I was charged ₹1951 for this ride.
I attempted to contact Uber customer care through various channels, including the in-app support, but unfortunately, I have not received any resolution or explanation so far.
To verify, I checked the fare for the same route today (23rd August 2025) and it still shows a similar estimate of ₹450–₹500, which confirms that the charge of ₹1951 is highly unusual and likely incorrect.
I have also attached a screenshot/photo of the trip and fare details for your reference.
I kindly request a thorough review of this issue and a refund of the excess amount charged. Please let me know if any further information is required from my side.
