Uber India — unnecessary deduction and rude behaviour of driver | |
Hi! Booked a cab on 8th apr from chennai jp hotel to airport at approx 9.45 a. M. The amount shown was rs 202 approx. Called drive rand he informed that he is reaching the pick up location and he enquired whether the payment is through cash or paytm. I have been making payments through paytm and he was informed accordingly. He asked me to cancel the ride and pay him in cash rs 250 as he realised i was in a hurry. Thereafter, he cancelled the booking and reached the pick up location. I had no option to look for an alternative because of the time constraint. I took the cab, uber deducted rs 30 for whatever reasons from my paytm. While in the journey to airport, i told driver that i will be complaining he asked me to get down from the cab. However, i did not argue further and i reached airport on time. The quality of the car tata indica was also a major issue. Please look into this as overall i had paid rs 78 (48+30).
