On 18th of June, 2018, I had booked an Uber Pool from Sangria Megapolis, Phase 3, Hinjewadi to Anmol Residency, Kaspate Wasti at 7.56 pm.
The ride was completed successfully at around 9 pm with no issues.
The next morning while leaving for office I realized that I have misplaced my black bag that had my two important cards - my company ID card and my ATM Debit Card. And of course I was sure that I had left in the Uber cab while returning back home.
Therefore, I contacted Uber support via multiple channels - their app, their website, dropped multiple mails with rejected response from server. Also through the app it was hard to reach out directly to the driver so that I could confirm on the lost documents with less hassle.
Since I had very limited information of the Uber driver so I googled his name and I got the above mentioned contact and address details to connect to Uber Office which is located within 1.5 km of distance from my home.
I called on this number [protected], one lady picks up and greets with welcoming message for Uber support. I tell the situation and provided details of my ride after which I got abrupt short answer response to please connect to https://help.uber.com/ to logde my complaint. I said her that I have already made a complaint on the portal and I only need details of my ride and help me connect with the driver I was riding with but the lady cuts the call. Assuming it was a mistake I call again and told her call got disconnected but she told me yes she did cut the call and told me to visit to Koregaon Park office and again hungs up.
Koregaon Park is 19 kms from my place and their office where I was calling was only 1.2 kms away from my place.
But I desperately needed help so I asked my friend to call on this number at-least she can tell me the exact address in Koregaon Park where I can get my bag if this is what was I had to do to get my documents.
Meanwhile I kept googling for more numbers when I got this number[protected] expecting a different Uber Customer Executive but again the same lady picks up and tells me to stop calling as she cannot keep line busy, I asked her again for help to let me connect to the driver or at-least report my case on their portal but the lady was very rude and again warns me to not call again on this number. I said I am calling on different numbers expecting different people not just her but she was so rude so I told her I will connect with Police if you don't talk in a sophisticated manner, she was like do anything now we are not going to help you. By this time I had reached the Wakad Police station on Datta Mandir road where I explained them my situation and my only concern was to help me connect with Uber Support team so that they can track my issue. One lady police officer asked me to connect to the number again as she wanted to talk so I connect again but still there was no help. Now Wakad police told me since there is no immediate help from the Uber Support team on this number, so right now all they could do was file a lost complaint at Hinjewadi Office. I was still not convinced to take this much trouble only because I was not able to connect to Uber Support so I called again to Pimple Saudagar Uber Support office again expecting different person on call but again this lady picks up the call and starts yelling at me that I am lying about my bag getting lost and that she has been watching my Uber account status that I have called multiple times. This was a very unprofessional conversation she was trying to make with me where she was constantly blaming me that I was troubling her for calling again and again and that she cannot keep the line busy so she told me to stop calling and warned me that now even if she gets my bag she will not return in any case. I mean why would she want to not return my bag even if they find it. She was not helping me with any kind of further direction. I was only asking for a small help to connect to the driver after tracking my details of the ride and the lady was too unprofessional during the entire conversation and kept threatening me that she won't return my lost bag if found.
Requesting concerned authority to connect with this lady at Pimple Saudagar Uber Support Office. I am a working IT professional so even I am aware of how to speak on call with Customer Executive and what response is expected from the receiver. I was willingly providing my details of the ride but the lady was too rude to help me.

Please Note: I have got my wallet after connecting to the driver directly through the app since I was trying continuously on the toll free number from Uber App. The driver was very kind enough to keep my wallet safe with him but even he could not connect to my number from my registered Uber account. I am only disappointed with the behavior of the lady on call as she was not serving her duty as per her role. She could easily connect me with higher level of Customer Support for help but she did not.
