Subject:- Compliant against Branch Manager & Field Officer o[censored]CO Bank Badri Nagar, Paonta Sahib (HP) for unwanted harassment , mental torture and personal insult.

Respected Sir

With due respect I wish to bring in your kind notice as:-


Brief facts of the case:-

1. I am a small shop owner in the area and running a tiny shop since 1990.

2. I hold a CC Account in the bank from last many years and has availed Credit Limit of Rs 800000 (Eight Lacs only) against my House as a collateral Security. I have good transaction in my account and from operational part it is regular account. Since the beginning timely payments of Interest and other charges were made from my side. (A/c No 26062)

3. The Bank Manager Arvind Sood & Field officer Shri Vaid Prakash has been continuously harassing us since the January 2011 they have made common practice for abusing me and my representatives. They both are acting as Hitler in the branch.

4. It became intolerable on 26/01/2011 when I issued a Cheque No 548179 to Mr Naresh Kumar but we are surprised to see that that has been bounced and returned to us with remark “Refer to drawer”

5. On this we approach bank and query for the same and bank manager abused us with the harsh words he also speaks loudly that “don’t come like beggars to bank we have not signed any contact to fund you” we were shocked to see the bank managers response and asked him what is the issue. But he refused to entertain us.


6. On that Day field officer of the bank told us that we have not got our limit renewed since 2 years that’s why the said Cheque was not debited to account. And they will not allow any transaction in account in future with the same excuse. When we told bank that sir, we have not done this type of process in past to please explain us what to do? And when it was not done in past or as per bank statement our limit was not renewed since last 2 years why bank is debiting our account by inspection charges and why the transaction had not been stopped when it was due for renewal during the year 2008-09. On this both the officers of Bank ( Branch manager & Field Officer ) loosed there tempered and harassed us with the unsocial words and insulted me in front of bank staff as well us customers present in the bank. Although he was going to slap me but I could be saving by interface of my wife & customers present in the branch.

7. Bank Manager & Field office had also taken some signatures by misrepresentations from me. They have taken my signature by telling us that they are giving us fresh limit for Rs. 1200000/- lately we came to know that they have taken signature on the bank letter on which we have informed about the non renewal of limit.

8. When I object for same they start procedure for the fresh limit with manipulated intention to extravagate our money. They forced us to spend money for the fresh limit by way of valuations, Shimla traveling and documents costs. But in last they have given us a letter that our proposal has been rejected. Although we have neither asked to provide any information required for same, nor explained reason for rejection of proposal.

9. Branch Manager also told us that till he is in position he will not allow us to bank with the UCO bank. He even not scared to say “I see who will help you, I want to see you crying in your shop”

10. Now bank has also restricted all transaction in my saving account and as well as in my CC account.

Since 31/01/2011 our shop is closed. It’s the only source of our bread. We don’t have any other source of income for survival. My wife has undergone in depression since the incident and this incident also affect adversely my sons mind when he need atmosphere for study as he is pursuing 10+2 exam during this March. Now it’s my humble request that the person who have intentionally snatched my source of earning and put us on the road should be punished for the inhuman act.

Our Pray

Strict action may be taken against the Branch Manager as well as field office for harassment, insult & abutment of customer. Strict action is solicited for the showing violence in bank.

Bank may also be ordered to compensate our costs incurred for the proposal of new limit as that was a pre planed play by the Branch manager and field officer.

A enquiry may be made with respect to the decline of business, accounts of the branch so that hidden face of the bank manger can be seen.

    I have submitted the following documents to apply for home loan on 14-MAR-2011.
    1:Last 3 years form-16 with return file.
    2:Last 6 months salary Slip(Accenture)
    3:Offer Letter from Accenture
    4:Employment Letter and Address proof on Accenture Letter Head.
    5:Last 6 months Bank Statements(HDFC)
    6:Highest Qualification Certificates MCA.
    7:Pan Card,Driving License,Accenture ID Card Xerox copy.

    As per my understanding these are the sufficient document to process a Home loan.Also in CIBIL report you can find my present Address and given mail from my accenture mail id to prove that i am working with this organisation.
    But till now it's not yet sanctioned and i can't stay here for long.

      Atm at BITS Pilani branch Doesn't work half of the year! This has given me and my friends enough reason to say that BANKING SERVICES O[censored]CO BANK IS VERY POOR... My parent is itself in UCO bank! Still I have to complaint and that for such a primary and basic service Such A Shame... I hope upper management works on it... However, We all students (almost 600-800) whose hostels are just on a 2 minute walk from here have lost trust on UCO bank already!!

          My father went for a loan against a property to UCO Bank, Raniganj
          Branch (PIN 713347) but did not get any response from the employees
          as well as from the manager. As per them "We dont have time for all
          these, come later".
          They were not ready to listen at all. They never treat people like human being.

          Kindly look into this branch and take an action against all these.

            I have a fixed deposit with Uco Bank kotrung branch, hooghly. At the the time of opening of FD a/c we instructed the bank to credit quarterly interest to our SB a/c but the bank does not paying the interest regularly and saying that the FD is controlled by HO and cannot be operated from bank as per CBS system. I am in a great trouble.

              At the time of opening saving account the bank told me that minimum balance for opening account (without check book) would be Rs.1000/- So I openend the account with Rs.1000/- but after some time they deducted Rs.100/- from my account saying minimum balance charges and when I enquired they told me that minimum balance is Rs.1500/- and they are not even listening to my words they are saying that I am lying to them.

                1. It is intimated that claim documents for final payment of available balance on SB Acct No 3153/17 in respect of Late Shri Biswanath Barik was handed to Mr Dasarath Dash, Bank Manager, Ranital Branch on 17 Apr 2010 by Smt Ranjita Barik W/O Late Shri B Barik.

                2. The ibid documents were returned by the Manager on 18 Aug 2010 after expiry of my mother and said fresh legal heir certificate is required. It is too difficult for a lady to make a fresh legal heir certificate. Between the period of 04 month bank still not take any action.

                3. As well as on complaining the higher authorities the Manager misguide the Zonal Office & Head Office o[censored]CO Bank.

                4. Smt Ranjita Barik is my sister-in-law and she was harressed by the bank.

                  I have a saving A/c in Uco bank Bhadrakali Branch. (A/c no. [protected]).
                  Inspite of mainting minimum balance the bank had deducted charges and debited my account several times. When we enquired with manager he just behaved like a typical goverment officer firstly kept on waiting me for more than 2 hours then told me that Bank can never be wrong and i was asked to leave bank in very much inhuman manner. he also told that he doesn't bother for saving account customer.

                    I have SB account with UCO bank using last several years. Last year I was offered for ATM cum Debit card stating that FREE life time witout any extra cost. Before accepting I asked again for any hidden charges but it was explained that there are no any hidden charges also.

                    In last month - October 2010, it was noticed that Rs 100/- were debited from my SB account. After enquiring with the bank it was explained that it is renewal charges which was not told me before issuing card. Even tt was not informed me before charging.

                    I wrote an application for credit the same amount to my SB account agian. Failing to do so it will attract to surrender the card. Expectly bank has not took any efforts. I wrote another surrender letter along with card.
                    An instruction in the letter stating that any further ATM transaction is performed with my SB account, bank will be liable.

                    After 2-3 days when I check out bank's site, it is found that Rs 100/- are chargable as renewal charges but after 2 years. In my case it was just 1 year complete.

                    I would like to apeal management o[censored]CO bank to ensure and confirm there own policies before launching any services into market and make aware about it to general public.

                          Dear Sir / Madam,
                          My name is sunita khatri. I have an account in UCO Bank (JNV Branch) in Bikaner City (Rajasthan). I have tried to get Rs. 3500/- from AXIS Bank ATM from Bairagarh,(M.P.) on 1st July 2010 but i did not receive any cash and i did not get any receipt too but Rs. 3500/- were deducted from my account. I talked to the AXIS bank but they said that they can't do anything please contact to your Bank. So I wrote an application on 20th July,2010 to the UCO Bank, Bikaner where my account is and they said that you keep checking your balance. you will receive the cash within 2-3 days. Its about 21 days already but i didn't get any cash. I have visited the bank several times but they are saying the same answer. Please help me as i need this money urgently. I have heard if the bank is not solving these type of problems in 12 days then the bank will be charged Rs. 100/- per day and this amount will be credited to the customer's account.
                          Kindly solve my problem as soon as possible. I am posting the detail of my account and also the ATM id where this problem occured.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I and my son Sarthak Nayak are under deep depression not being considered for an educational loan in favour of my son who has been qualified in CET conducted by Indian Maritime University, Chennai and also has been allotted institution for his admission into IMU Mumbai(TS Chanakya).

                            My Identification:- I am Bidyadhar Nayak S/O Bholanath Nayak age 42 years an ex-serviceman of Indian navy residing at House No-5037, Ex-Servicemen Colony, Dumuduma,Bhubaneswar since 2004. I have not any other source of income except the only pension drawing from UCO Bank Main Branch, Bhubaneswar.

                            CET Details:-The Common Entrance Test conducted by IMU on 19 Jun 2010 and my son appeared the same at Visakhapatnam Centre. He appeared the Counseling at IMU Chennai on 19 July 2010. IMU Chennai allotted seat for admission into IMU Mumbai and directed to report on 04 Aug 2010.

                            Accordingly we arranged reservation to start on 02 Aug by Konark Exp from Bhubaneswar.

                            Being I am poor in economy, approached UCO Bank Main Branch, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar for an educational loan of Rs 200000.00. My application processed by the Branch and forwarded to Zonal Office Bhubaneswar in time. Zonal office Bhubaneswar further called over phone and demanded the affidavit from Notary and the same submitted by me. I explained there my requirement and date of admission and movement details and requested Chief Officer to consider my case for availing the loan in time to face the requirement.

                            On 02 Aug I approached the Zonal Office (Chief Officer Mr Kedarnath Mohanty, Loan officer Mr Pradhan). Mr Pradhan said your loan not granted by Zonal Manager Mr N. Shivasambu Rao.

                            To know the reason I wanted to meet him and placed a visiting card through proper channel . I was called inside by his staff. While entering Mr N.Shivashambu Rao insulted me without listening my grievance.

                            My train left for Mumbai and I could not get the loan.

                            Now we father and son in a bad situation and under great shock.

                            In the entire process of documentation for the above loan I personally realized that though it is named Educational Loan, in fact the reality is something else.

                            Your highness, today it is my problem. Like me thousands must be suffering due to such defunct system and carelessness by Senior officials of the Bank.

                            Request with folded hands consider my case and render me the justice.

                              Sir,

                              With due respect I beg to state that I have applied for Education Loan of our Silpukhuri,Guwahati-3(Assam) Branch before 25 days ago(for MBA course),but till now they are not interested to sanction the loan. Already I have checkup through your bank's dealer (all document for education loan) of loan branch.before submit the application form at silpukhuri's branch, I have applied to your calcatta's office as advance application (E-mail application).according to your instruction by e-mail I have submit all document along with loan form.
                              At present my case is pending in Guwahati Zonal office,Guwahati-3,silpukhuri's branch.Mr.R.L.Bhattacharjee,officer(sale force) who is looking in this matter for verification. Mr.Bhattacharjee has told my father to pickup them by our car from silpukhuri's branch to my house and parents office for verification as he denied they have not come to verification today on[protected] and not replied anything back.
                              That sir, so far my knowledge the verification is completely confidential and have to do all this things from Bank's side.in case case of chacking original document parents have to cooperate with them.
                              That Sir,my father and mother both are in Railway department's service holder in Guwahati Head Quarter's office.If you are interested to talk with them just ring the Mobile Phone which no. is given below.
                              That Sir,I have got information regarding education loan in your Guwahati's branch, so many student have facing trouble for getting the sanction the above loan. Why they are doing this I don't know but something is behind it.
                              That sir, If extra money(unofficially) is required for sanction the loan amount, I clearly inform you that I unable to pay any amount of Rupees.so I requested you to please look into the matter as soon as possible, so that I can deposit the 3rd Installment to my college on or before the 1st.August,2010.(1st. And 2nd Instalment have deposited in cash by us).
                              That Sir,My class is going on full swing ,If you are not able to sanction the loan please inform me so that I can apply another bank for education loan.

                              i am in poor family. my brother is studying diploma ece in annamalayar polytechnic he want to pay the fees amount rs24,000. i went to uco bank and ask for education loan. but they ask to me the education loan limit is finish so we con not give education loan. please find my loan complaint.

                              i am not declared my original name. i got education loan from our bank, i got the 3rd sem fee but still now i am not get the 4th sem fees i paid all the interest and insurance premium but the accout manager does't give my DD(demand draft)yet, when i go to bank he said some details are not enough so u go today and come tomorrow as like that who was doing simultaniously 4days. I lose my education for past 4days.Now i am typing letter before i have gone to bank and i met accoutmanager again he said u come at 12pm. I cry to say pls take immediate action to safty other students human depress.

                              Note: i really sad about bank activity they not give proper response for any student

                              With due respect I beg to state that I have applied for Education Loan of our Maligaon,Guwahati-11(Assam) Branch before 25 days ago(for MBA course),but till now they are not interested to sanction the loan.already I have checkup through your bank, (all document for education loan).Manager have given green signal to produce the document with loan application.As per instruction I did it.
                              At present my case is pending in Guwahati,Bhangagarh Branch(Zonal office,Guwahati).Mr.P.Dasgupta who is looking in this matter.I have already visit with my father With Mr. sengupta.He has told us file will send to Maligaon Branch within three days but till now no response . I have tried to contact again and again (By Telephone) but he has not received the telephone ,I have send SMS also,till now he is not replied.
                              That Sir,my father and mother both are in Railway department's service holder in Guwahati Head Quarter's office.If you are interested to talk with them just ring the Mobile Phone which no. is given below.
                              That Sir,I have got information regarding education loan in your Guwahati's branch, so many student have facing trouble for getting the sanction the above loan. Why they are doing this I don't know but something is behind it.
                              That sir, If extra money(unofficially) is required for sanction the loan amount, I clearly inform you that I unable to pay any amount of Rupees.so I requested you to please look into the matter as soon as possible, so that I can deposit the 3rd Installment to my college on or before the 1st.August,2010.(1st. And 2nd Instalment have deposited in cash by us)
                              That Sir,My class is going on full swing ,If you are not able to sanction the loan please inform me so that I can apply another bank for education loan.

                              The EMI is around 7000/- to 9000/- per month.It will start only after 2012.I donot know the EMI and starting dt of EMI.

                                Dear sir,
                                My name is Rangaraj.C, i belong to Chennai and i have SB account at IC[censored]CO bank (A/C No.[protected]). I lost my UCO bank debit card from 3rd Sep 2010.

                                I did not check that card as i was transfered to Mettupalayam for my job and i believed that my card is at my chennai residence. But when i got transfered back to chennai on 9th Nov 2011 i under stood that my card is missing since 3rd Sep 2010.

                                So i went to bank to inform the same on 9th Nov 2011 and found that Rs.8738.11 was withdrawn between the period from 3rd Sep 2010 to 17th Jan 2011 on daily basis my a/c showed NIL balance since 7th Jan 2011. Subsequently my account was deactivated by bank officials.

                                So i paid Rs. 1000/p- to activate my account and complaint to block my card which is missing. But the official did not accept the compliant and asked to inform to the toll free number [protected].This happened on 9th Nov.2011.

                                Till date i my unable to get connected to this line.Requesting the following


                                1. Block my ATM debit card
                                2. Close my account

                                With my knowledge how my cash is withdrawn from my account using my card when myself and bank authoritised only know the PIN number?

                                  I want to activate my internet Banking ID & Password.

                                  It has been more 5 months since I have received my ID & Password for Internet Banking I have written 3 times regarding the same but no action has been taken as yet.

                                  More than 10 times I have complained in the branch they said we have forwarded the request to the head office but there is no response.

                                  There are many people like me who are still slogging 2 or 3 times a week to get the damn Passbook filled instead if checking their account online.

                                    I Request to credit 4000/-in above mentioned A/C No .Which have been deducted from my A/C on 2/04/2010 . Available balance in my A/c was Rs. 8588.86 /-, when I try to withdrawal Rs. 4000/- from SBI Saket ,transaction was not fulfilled because cash was not available in Machine. Then I visit another ATM (PNB Saket) and try to withdrawal Rs.3500/-, I received Rs. 3500/- but I found that 4000/- also have been deducted from my A/C and balance was in my A/C Rs. 1088.86/-only,that should be Rs. 5088.86/-



                                    I request to credit that amount in my A/C [protected]


                                    I have already mail enclosed application to branch manager,and called then 8 to 10 times ,but they are not responding me properly & not taking any action againt it ,Even they dont give me my case id no.plz take any action urgently,I request.

                                    i want to complain the branch manager when i asked them status aginst my complain ,they talk to me louldy .even still as on 12/04/2010 they dont take any action against my application .when i asked them about my case id no(bank gives a case id no against complain after process )they told me that they dont have any case id no.its mean thay dont take any action still.

                                    UCO Bank — unnecessarily deduction of money

                                    I want to complain againt uco bank managemant .they dont entertain account holder.i have forwaded folowing application in uco bank ,branch jasola .have also given them hard copy of this .but they are not responding me. i am not satisfied with uco banking it is vary bad ,thay dont take any action on time ,even they speek louldy on account holders on asking status of thier account.

                                      After I get the mail I approach the Jodhpur park branch manager. He says you have applied the loan online. I can't help you. seek help from internet. When I tell him sir its urgent. and i have been instructed to contact you and give him my papers. He says he can do nothing.And till today 01.03.2010 morning now he has not taken any steps the files were still there in his office, where as I needed the loan urgently.

                                      Please do take action against him and people who harasses need people in problems. and what will be my course of action?

                                      Paying you highest regards putting my Grievance below for your kind consideration.

                                      I and my son Sarthak Nayak are under deep depression not being considered for an educational loan in favour of my son who has been qualified in CET conducted by Indian Maritime University, Chennai and also has been allotted institution for his admission into IMU Mumbai(TS Chanakya).

                                      My Identification:- I am Bidyadhar Nayak S/O Bholanath Nayak age 42 years an ex-serviceman of Indian navy residing at House No-5037, Ex-Servicemen Colony, Dumuduma, Bhubaneswar since 2004. I have not any other source of income except the only pension drawing from UCO Bank Main Branch, Bhubaneswar.

                                      CET Details:-The Common Entrance Test conducted by IMU on 19 Jun 2010 and my son appeared the same at Visakhapatnam Centre. He appeared the Counseling at IMU Chennai on 19 July 2010. IMU Chennai allotted seat for admission into IMU Mumbai and directed to report on 04 Aug 2010.

                                      Accordingly we arranged reservation to start on 02 Aug by Konark Exp from Bhubaneswar.

                                      Being I am poor in economy, approached UCO Bank Main Branch, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar for an educational loan of Rs 200000.00. My application processed by the Branch and forwarded to Zonal Office Bhubaneswar in time. Zonal office Bhubaneswar further called over phone and demanded the affidavit from Notary and the same submitted by me. I explained there my requirement and date of admission and movement details and requested Chief Officer to consider my case for availing the loan in time to face the requirement.

                                      On 02 Aug I approached the Zonal Office (Chief Officer Mr Kedarnath Mohanty, Loan officer Mr Pradhan). Mr Pradhan said your loan not granted by Zonal Manager Mr N. Shivasambu Rao.

                                      To know the reason I wanted to meet him and placed a visiting card through proper channel . I was called inside by his staff. While entering Mr N.Shivashambu Rao insulted me without listening my grievance.

                                      My train left for Mumbai and I could not get the loan.

                                      Now we father and son in a bad situation and under great shock.

                                      In the entire process of documentation for the above loan I personally realized that though it is named Educational Loan, in fact the reality is something else.

                                      Your highness, today it is my problem. Like me thousands must be suffering due to such defunct system and carelessness by Senior officials of the Bank.

                                      Request with folded hands consider my case and render me the justice.

                                      sir I have applied for education loan Rs 150000/- student & his father agree to sign as borrower & coborrower but branch insist for signature his mother as guranteer and they also required on blank cheque book I think as per govt guidelines guranter is not required kindly advice

                                      I paid one lac interest for my education loan but cannot get interest certificate for it because the A/C is closed.
                                      How can i show this for IT Return fillling.
                                      Earlier i used to take interest certificate using UCO bank online portal but since my account is closed i cannot take the report and the same is not possible to take from the branch.

                                      Any suggestion or help will save my 30000 tax for income tax return.
