My wife is having Telenor sim and it was taken 8 years ago with ID proof of voter card. Now she lost the sim, so I went to the store to get a new sim. The representative told me that they need address proof and my wife has to come to the store and she has to sign the document to get a new sim card, otherwise they will not give the new sim. So when we both went to the store next day and produced the Adhaar Card to the representative she is not accepting that to give a new Sim, where as my wife's sign was matched and she came personally to get the sim, but the representative is telling that the address that we mentioned at the time of taking a new sim 8 years ago was not same as we submitted this time, that is why she simply rejected to give new sim. My question is that how can we live in the same address as it is rented home for so many years, we recently shifted to new home and we got new Adhaar card on that we had a new address, so now the representative is arguing that if we bring the old address proof then only she will give the sim. I told them the sign and photo ID are same and the customer came personally then why these people are not accepting to give a new sim. Nobody stay in the same address for 8 years or so in the rented houses. i want explanation about this from the Telenor Management. Was this information helpful? | |||
