Union Bank Of India — Abused, Threatened & ill-treated by Overseas Department | |||||
Dear Sir, On 3rd August, 2016, I called the Foreign Exchange Department o[censored]nion Bank of India to inquire about a expected incoming US Dollars. Since the party has insisted the funds were transferred, we also called in the afternoon at 3 PM to inquire & then at 6.30 PM to inquire ( 2 times) I called the following No. –[protected], one Mr. Vinay Bhatter picked up and started using foul language for calling twice in the day. We were shocked to hear and we tried to calm him down. We said we are only making a honest request to know whether funds are transferred. We did not expect to hear abuses from Mr. Vinay Bhatter. He did not stop at that. He kept on shouting at us and calling us names asking us to “come to bank and face him”. He even threatened that he will never give us any information and hinted that he will make our lives miserable. In this respect, I request you to take strict action against him and give us a kind report on the action initiated and also to close our Current Account with the Bank (AC No. [protected]). Also, please close our current Account of our subsidiary company, M/S Khaitan Iron Foundry Pvt. Ltd. as we do not want to deal with a bank which doesn’t respect its customers. We have loved to be customers o[censored]nion Bank of India but we fail to know how such a person can get away by treating a long term customer of bank like this. We are compelled to lodge formal complaint with many other bodies. We shall submit a written application to all the concerned departments.
