Dear Sir,
I filed a claim regarding accident/ damaged of my car, all the initial processes (i.e. Estimate of Rs. approx 19, 000/- submitted) I followed as advised by UIIC Dibrugarh Assam branch officer and accordingly they assigned a surveyor for my vehicle. Once the survey was completed undersigned handed over my vehicle to the garage for necessary repairing work. After the job completion I received my car back and took the bill of Rs. 19, 050/- (Final Bill) and submitted the original bill to the branch office (Dibrugarh Assam) and filled the form accordingly at the same time I informed to Branch Manager that i have paid to the repairer 3500 less of the billed amount because o[censored]nsatisfied work he done.
And according to the Branch Manager surveyor make the assessment amount of Rs. 9000/- Only. I called BM to know the reason, She said assessment has been prepared according to telephonic talk with the repairer. Firstly Repairer has not been paid the full amount of Rs. 19050/- (because of his unsatisfied work), That is why he said that only 9000/- he received. Secondly, if there is a rule to make the assessment according to telephonic talk, then why have they collected the estimates and final bills?
Dear Sir, I request you to kindly resolve the issue as the matter is of 02.08.2022.
