I applied to Bsc. computer science in IU University of applied sciences, Germany through upgrad's study abroad program.
I had done all the formalities, and they told to submit all the money at once or take a loan. I couldnt play the total money so I took a loan of 4.25 lakhs through propelld which was suggested by upgrad.
They were in a hurry and did all the procesdures and then afterwards when I had problems they seldom picked up the calls. Later I decided to withdraw my application and so i contacted them, i was unaware of the policies and even the officials didn't tell me anything about it. They did all the process by taking me in a zoom call and they guided me what to do next. I had paid total 25 thousand diposit and 4.25 lakhs loan Is ongoing through propelld. I contacted upgrad finance team before the start date, they didn't help and told me to contact the counsellor who didn't pickup the call because she wasn't available.
Later when I contacted them they told that they can't refund because the start date is over, and they said loan can't be cancelled and i have to pay full money even if i cancel the application.
I contacted the university for the same, and they said refund is given from the university side but i[censored]pgrad tells them they will give they refund and cancel the application.But upgrad is not ready to help nor support, they are asking me to continue the course and forcing me to submit all the documents.They are saying refund is not possible because it's not in their policy. But I haven't even submitted all the documents yet!
