i am from one of the village in dist.Pratapgarh U.P..my complaint is regarding transformer. we are having a problem of over load in transformer, therefore transformer is geeting problem everymonth, yesterday we got one transformer but today we got again problem in the same transformer for chaging the transformer nobody is coming from electricity dept. therefore we r having lot of difficulty pls solve this problem and take necessary action against electricity board Pratapgarh. we told j.e. to give 100 KVA transformer. we are still not getting power supply

Problem with Transformer
respected sir/madam

i am from one of the village in dist.allahabad U.P..my complaint is regarding transformer. we are having a problem of over load in transformer, therefore transformer is geeting problem everymonth, yesterday we got one transformer but today we got again problem in the same transformer for chaging the transformer nobody is coming from electricity dept. therefore we r having lot of difficulty pls solve this problem and take necessary action against electricity board allahabad. we told j.e. to give 63 KVA transformer. we are still not getting power supply

This is to bring in your knowledge, that there is a electricity pole at my place about 10 feet from my house, on my own land, but there is no electricity due to transformer at my place.There are 10 houses surrounding my home they also need the electricity, About 300 meter there is 1 transformer, which is been used by single family.Its been 5 years that the pole was fixed at my land but, we do not have any benefit out of it.therefor it is my humble request to the electricity department to visit the place and understand the requirement of Transformer.

Electricity board uttar pradesh — Movement of electricity pole

Village name : Chariya
As the main electricity wire is going just near to my house , which is creating a problem . So we have requested to move the same from my house. But there is no listern . Even just to move this they are asking for huge money. Need your gudence to get the same done on priority . And to save my family life also.

UP Electricity Board — Transformer not being fixed

Transformer stopped functioning at 6:15 am, 22/05/2013 in Vrindavan gardens, sahibabad, ghaziabad. However, even on repeated requests (phone calls), no action has been taken so far. This is accompanied by frequent power cuts amounting to >16 hours per day. Kindly look into this matter, asap. Thanks, Ramya

    RIMENDER

    Poor electricity & frequent power cut
    Poor electricity & frequent power cut in Vrinadavan Colony Sector 5 near green Belt
    We live in Vrindavan, Awas Vikas Colony, Sector 5 (Green Belt) near Telibagh, Lucknow. We have constant electricity supply failure and power cut isssues in our area and also a low voltage problem in the night on constant basis. This is causing lot of problem to the resident living there and creating problem to the electronics devices like TV, fridge, AC etc. It is very difficult to stay there in Vrindavan colony sector 5 in this situation. It is to inform you that we have a proper power connection with new meter installed. The colony is new and developed by UP Awas Vikas Parisad. .

    We have complained several times to LESA office at Vrindavan Colony to change the Electric feeder so that such problem faced by resident can be solved but so far nothing has improved and all complaints are falling on deaf ears. On phone , Lesa personals talk very rudely and most of the time they do not pick up calls. This makes it difficult to even speak to them.

    This problem is faced only by Pearl type house category, Sector 5 Vrindavan Colony situated near green belt. The fused street lights have also not been changed after several complaints


    Therefore , I request the concerned authority to solve the Electric City failure issue at the earliest and change the electric feeder (which presently coming through Village) and connect to the electric feeder from Sector 6 Vrindavan Colny.

    lucknow electricity department — Heavy power cut

    This is Prabhat shukla. and am resideing in A-1388 indira nagar lucknow .. i want to informed u that here is unofficaly rostering still go on since 3in half moths which is been still over then 2 and 3 hours in every night.. and whenever we call to ur complian land line no at sec 25, power house indira nagar lucknow. there nobody recive the call if there some body ever have recived the call then talk to ur coustmer much rudly.. so i request u that plz take a strong actaion agains such a trount employe like them.. and plz take a possitive step in maner of rostering as soon as possible too.. and i will be very great full to u ...

    I have also submitted an affidavit to Electricity board office Lucknow of Kalyanpur area, to correct my address in Electricity bill in the month of Feb'2012 even after approaching the concerned officials except assurance nothing has done till date. The officials attitude is not costumer friendly and they are taking care of problems.

    I agree. The situation is that the LESA appears to be harassing the consumers. There is undeclared power cut without any proper rostering. People are being deprived of the basic amenity- water. Because when it time for water there is no electricity. Hence one is unable to have drinking water.The fluctuation in the voltage is another big problem. In my area- Paper Mill Colony- out of two tube wells one has been rendered out of service because of high fluctuation in voltage. The LESA, it appears, is working like colonial authority having no regard to people's woes.

      1.connection no 000795 book no 1601 OP Malhotra 21 Amausi Industrial Area Nadar ganj lucknow This connection used by SK Gupta is connection ko katavakar 7 lack ka bill pay nahi kiya aur new connection apane naam se lagava liya hai woh bhi 20 HP ka lekin load hai kareeb 40/50 hp ka.

      2.connection no 31268 apane naukar ke naam se liya Kishan kumar mishra 83 | 102 D.4 Parampurva Govind nagar Kanpur is connection ka bill jab adhik ho gaya to meter ko Nikaal kar fek diya aur usi jagaha par sarla Gupta ke Naam se meter Lagava diya Jabki iske pahale bhi isme anaya naam se bakaya tha.

      3.Govind nagar kanpur me hi house no 128 / 8 T Block Govind nagar kanpur ka bill abhi tak final nahi kiya hai meter kata para hai.

            Complain against Lineman In-charge (Jassipura, Ghaziabad) Mr. Sabir Ali. This is to bring in your notice that the above officer has disconnected my electricity connection without any reason.He disconnected the line before the disconnection date (disconnection date 29-March-2011) on 26-March-2011.
            I would like to inform you that the same has been done earlier also.
            Kindly do let me know why the above officer/department disconnecting the line without any reason, and take the immediate action.

            Respected Sir,

            I, C P S Tomar am Defence personal and deployed in Counter Insurgency, Kapuwara (J&K). My residential address is, House No D-2B, Indraprasth Estate (Phase -1), Roorkee Road (Meerut). I have an electric connection of 3 KVA since Apr 2011 which No is 820840.

            I never default to pay my bill during given time limit. There is my wife and my son of 11 years at my home. Yesterday, your respective goes to my home and tried to discunnect my electric connection from electric Pole. But, they go back with warning that "Pay your bill by tommarow otherwise this will discunnect permanently" which is not understood. Because there is no bill received from concerned authority till date.

            Sir, I was on leave from Jan 12 to 20th Feb 2012 and went to Electric House situate on Roorkee Road (Peer Baba, Meerut Cantt), clerical staff tell me that there is some problem with data. So that they can't producing Bills, whenever, bill received you may pay.

            May I request you to kindly lookafter the matter and resolve the same.

              I am from a small town called Kandhla which comes under district Muzzaffarnagar.
              The electrical supply is limited to only 6-8 hrs in 24 hrs.
              The problem is prevalent since long long time. Every time during the elections, candidates campaign that they will improve the electricity conditions in the town, but all the commitments are fake, since no one even bother to visit the place after wards. And on roads their is darkness in night due to which people get afraid all the time by thief.

              It is my humble request on behalf of Kandhla residents, that we justice, as during this time of the year when mercury is soaring up, it is impossible to sustain here. Due to which people make their business of supplying electricity through the generator at more amount money due to which environment get noise and air polluted.

              We look forward for the prompt response from the higher authorities, as collectively, we want this issue to be taken up. Or else, if this problem can not be solved at your level, please advise; the residents of Kandhla are not afraid of taking this issue to even more higher authorities.

              i am suyash trivedi of hardoi a student studying in class 11 i want to make an complaint against less supply in my place due to which people suffer a lot so it is my kindly request to concern authority to look after the matter.
              Dear Sir,

              we are complaining from Mohammad pur / Puraini Manauri Kaushambi, our village is only 500 -800 meter from your Manauri sub-station (power house).
              the transformer is not working/burned since last more than one month but no body care & we have allready inform 2-3 times.
              our children has examination & here no power supply from last more than one month.

              So, please we are requesting you please take necessary action ASAP.

                staff asking for money (bribe) for replacement of faulty meter

                Sir,
                Three months back on dated 10/12/2011, my meter was changed.My old meter no BEHL124698 S 11/2000 was replaced by new meter no Genus 17113583.Old meter reading was 17795(mentioned in SANYUKTA METER PATHAN TATHA METER SEALON KA PRAMAN PATRA), while it is reported in the new bill as 18029 which means 234 units increased.
                I went to the CHAUKA GHAT HEAD OFFICE, VARANASI for correction purpose, but the dealing clerical staff did not cooperate.
                I have paid the excess amount of 234 unit.
                It is therefore requested you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful so that this much amount may be adjusted in my future bills.

                  I want to make a complaint about up electricity department, In this state only main city like lucknow , kanpur, ghaziabad etc. get full electricity supply in remaining areas there is more then 12-14 hr cut off.


                  I m requesting u to please make a suitable verification about that .
                  Places there electricity cut off is about more then 12-14 hr in 24/7 basis...since last 20 yr i have seen.
                  People don’t even not know what is the frequency of supply of electricity of remaining states. They feel extreme happiness if they got more then 20 hr electricity in 24 hr.

                  No body can look into this seriously PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS .

                    I am really perturbed to see as how the nexus between different sections of noida electricity department works to harass innocent citizens to fill their pockets.
                    In my case one fine day our electricity meter got burnt and the same day we lodged the complaint with noida office to do the needful as in absence of that we were without electricity. To our dismay the person at the counter said that it will take atleast 45 days to change the meter. When we asked how we can remain withouit the electricity for 45 days then he said he can't help in this. In the mean time, we asked one electrician to help in this case till the time meter is installed. He made a direct connection and in next 10 days arranged a meter also again from electricity office only. However post the complaint and before meter installation suddenly one day a vigilence team came to our house and said we have got a direct connection without approval. They refused to listen anything and went after that. I fail to understand that how come vigilence team came during this time while they never visted us in last 30 years at the same premises. When our meter got installed we again started paying bills regularly as earlier. Now suddenly in last month bill which we recieved last week, a charge of approx 2.5 lac has been levied for which there is no logic and explanation from department. First of all I want to understand that what is our mistake and what are we supposed to do if department takes 45 days to install and in the mean time despite of complaint no respite is provided. Are we supposed to live for 45 days withoput electricity? Also for 10-12 days gap of meter installation how the penalty can be 2.5 lac...either the amount should be on consumtion trend or may be some extra charge over and above consumption trend.
                    I need your guidance as to how to proceed further in this matter as I can't pay this kind o[censored]njustifiable penalty and that too because of incompetency of the electricity department to provide solution after my complaint. Looking forward for your revert.

                    He is one of the “Corrupt officer & is defaming the entire electricity department & Noida Authority due to his activities”. He is a curse for the department & should be immediately removed after taking stringent action against him, so that no one else can even think of doing what he does.

                    He openly asks for “bribes” for installing a New Electricity Meter in any house in the Sector. Also, once the new electricity meter is installed he asks again for bribes in order to give the Sealing Certificate. In case he is not given bribe, he harasses the public and threatens to Cut the electricity. He also goes to people’s houses on festivals such as Holi & Diwali and asks for money & gifts. If the money is not given he gives wrong report to the electrical department and says that you your Meter is Overload & using for commercial purpose and you need to pay penalty etc and harasses the resident of the sector.

                    Also, he steals the electricity and the give the public for higher rates in the sector. Some of the people of sector 44 using electricity for guest house but he never harasses and goes there as he is getting monthly huge amount. Also there meter are overload etc.

                    This entire thing he does with his entire team (who works there as on contract basis) of sub power station of Sector -44, Noida

                    As Sector 44 is one of the best sector in Noida. All the residents of the sector are frustrated because of his unprofessional behavior and asking money again and again. However, they are afraid to come forward & report his actions due to his position & status.

                    This entire issue is very well known to PASCHIMANCHAL VIDYUT VITRAN NIGAM Ltd. (PVVL) Electricity Department of Noida. But they are not taking seriously and no action has been taken so far.

                    Therefore you are requested to take severe action as your site is No1 in Consumer Complaints of Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar (UP), Kindly take serious action and remove this corrupt and fraud Junior Engineer of Noida.

Hardly there is supply of only 6 hours daily. Sir/Madam i ask you that do you really think that these few hours supply is sufficient for the Farmers to water their fields.

                        I am resident of Village-Rauna, post-kurahana, mughalsarai, District-Chandauli. In my village, conductors is in bad condition.They can any time break.There are many joints in the lines with small wires.To maintain the gap in conductors dry bamboos & bricks are used.Please change Neutral wires because there life has been expired.This problem is also in my adjacent village-kurahana.

                            I am resident of village Tenua, post Tekua of district Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. Electricity is not available in our village from last one month because electric transformer of our village is not working. I have informed about this incident to Junior Engineer of electricity department of Pakdi Bazaar Hydil. But He told me that this is not his responsibility and he can do nothing for the same. I informed this problem several times to the concerned electricity department but nobody has come to repair the transformer.                             Shame on those departmental people, public representatives who can not see that our District is no where seen in the race of development.                               UPPCL is bulk supplying power to Assotech/Absotherm ( builder and his associate)who controls the distribution to the actual consumers of WINDSOR PARK, INDIRAPURAM, GHAZIABAD (residents/club/cabana/windsor street shops), and collects the charges through a pre paid meter with out providing any detailed bill/receipt with break up of various charges. The amount used to recharge the meter is deducted on various accounts - not only towards the uppcl charges but towards fixed maintenance / common electricity/ gas etc. He can programme it to deduct any amount on any account with out any permission from the consumers. Even after written request no reply is provided. Most of the time the DG Set is found running and the charges are exhorbitant. One has to see to believe the realty. Consumers are mad eto suffer beyond imagination. No one seems to act to protect the rights .

                              How UPPCL is allowing a private party to distribute electricity? Has Regulatory Commission given permission to do so? or is it a violation of regulation?

                                1. New Meter installed at my home is running very fast. Even when home was closed for full day, 24 unit was consumed when only inverter and Fridge were running.

                                2. For this new meter I had to pay Rs 7350/-

                                And on top of that, electricty department cut the connection when no one was at home. And with no intimation.
                                It was restored when I did some fact finding and showed them the payment receipt.

                                3. The bill amount is very high for last 1 month as high as 5000/- Even though consumption has reduced drastically. Earlier average amount used to be 1000/- only.

                                Meter need to be replaced and I should get back the extra amount charged and I should be adequately compensated for the harassement faced.

                                  I feel sorry to complaint against people who steal eletricity in gopal nagar , sanjay nagar area bareilly this all act is being done in night time , people take a long wire and directly use main line infront of their houses.                                   First and foremost i like to sorry to complaint against people who always upon the Poll to shuffle their wire one face to another face in Ikram Nagar colony Loni (Ghaziabad) without line men or authorized person. This all activities are done in night time people always change their face. If voltage is low due to which on the poll every day, i would like to say 2-3 time in a day fault is done on the poll by this all person feels problem because fluctuation comes.

                                  Electricity department has been provide the box for 10-12 connection and locked boxes but now situation is with the boxes all boxes has been destroyed on poll and all concoction (wire/Cable) is plunged on main line directly.

                                  Please take it very seriously and get the action against such people who always create a problem with the Main line.
