Varun Motors — not returning of my booking amount

Pathetic service by varun motor team - chandanagar. I have been there on 13th aug to check on both celerio & swift. However finally we confirmed we would book a swift - vxi. Though we liked and opted for a silver, the executive informed that there is a granite grey readily available and can be given within a week. However with lot of discussion we opted for the same. We were asked to pay a booking amount to block the car. Since it was 6:30p. M and cashier had left for the day and receipt was unavailable, we made a 5000/- payment via debit card. After 3 days received the receipt which mentioned celerio, when asked the executive arun confirmed "no initially you wanted celerio, so by mistake the receipt is made. It is ok, as this is just the booking amount. As promised i was supposed to get my car delivery the same week. However no calls from the team, after multiple follow up they confirm that car has been given to another customer who had made a complete cash down. Both the executive, mr. Arun, his tl, mr. Singh promised to deliver by aug 25th. However they do not give as promised and come up with a new excuse, we have got a silver celerio and you can buy the same. As a customer when i choose to buy a swift-vxi and confirm the same, they insist on me buying celerio if not wait for another 6 weeks as there is no manufacturing happening. This is unbelievable as maruti suzuki is known for it s customer service and we are being given such pathetic service. I insist on they returning my booking money as i will get the same from other showroom. They make me follow up, run from one person to another, fill forms, write letter etc, still after 2.5 months i have not received my booking amount. Now they state that it was paid by a credit card so the procedure is very difficult.
I really don't care as they failed to give the car i wanted, now post ample follow they do not want to give my booking amount which was paid by a debit card. I got the same car from other showroom in hyderabad which was easily available. Varun motors being a big brand name dealing customers in such a shabby manner is least expected. Hence posting the same here for a solution.
