Veena World — Kashmir tour package

Hello Sir,

i returned from the Kashmir highlights tour of veena world and i had the most horrendous experience.

The itinerary was not followed, food, hotels were unhygienic, proper transport not provided as mentioned to us while booking the tour.

The food neither had any taste, variety nor quality.We were served same paneer Aloo and chicken curry everyday.The food provided during the entire trip was so hopeless and of poor quality that me, my daughter and several members from our trip suffered severe food poisoning.
Me and my daughter had to miss the shankaracharya temple as were seriously ill due to food poisoning.

No coach transport was arranged for all sightseeing as mentioned in our itinerary.

The bedrooms in all hotel rooms were dirty with unclean bedsheets.The washrooms in all our hotels were stinking, dirty and unhygienic.None of the hotels were of 3 star category as mentioned to us while booking.

On discussing regarding hotels/food with our tour guide. They would only give us a standard answer, that Srinagar doesn't have good Infrastructure like other areas, which is not at all true, there are 3 star+ category hotels with extremely good facilities and food.

We paid 150000 for this trip for 3 people and it was an overall a disgusting horrible experience with veenaworld. This is definitely my last trip with this hopeless, useless company.
When we informed tour manager regarding our grievance, he told us to contact Guest relations team, that team too hasn't responded since last 4 days.

Day wise itinerary too wasn't followed, below are the details for the same.

1) DAY 1-Srinagar
Arrival from airport at 3 pm. No breakfast and lunch arranged on this day. No single coach as promised, all passengers are made to travel in different vehicles. Arrival on houseboat by 4 pm or so. Houseboat was the most hopeless experience. unhygienic washrooms, bedrooms and food

2) DAY 2-Pahalgam
Avantipur ruins cancelled, no alternate sightseeing provided.
JKTDC worst hotel experience again with unhygienic washrooms, bedrooms and food. Also, the rooms were almost 2 kms away from restaurant where dinner was served. The route from our room to restaurant had no lights and we had to manage in the dark to reach the restaurant on our own, extremely horrible and scary experience. The rooms didn't have even a phone in case of emergency as mobile networks were not available in that area. No kashmiri biscuits provided as promised. No transport arranged to visit mall road and again we were left on our own to visit the same.

3) DAY 3-Srinagar
Aru valley cancelled and no alternate sightseeing provided. No coach transport provided here again, separate taxis were arranged. No instant noodles provided and walnut plantation point was not covered and no information was provided on the same. Arrival at New Park hotel on Srinagar.
Worst hotel experience again with Unhygienic washrooms, bedrooms and food.No veena world treat of tea/coffee/ soft drink provided as mentioned in itinerary chandanwari.

4) DAY 4-Gulmarg
Tour guide didn't provide any proper information on the weather conditions and told us to buy fur coats and boots @ Rs 300/head from a specific shop only.
We were promised an all inclusive tour and this additional cost was never informed to is while booking. Also, on reaching the top of Gulmarg we found that there was no snow and these were not at all needed.Also there were additional stores on the top which provided the same thingz at Rs 100/ head only, which we were not informed and told to buy from the specific store only. Clear cheating again.
Not only this, after reaching we were informed that our coach will not be able to take us to the point and a distance of about a km we would have to take on our own by taxis at Rs 200/head at our own cost both to and fro till our coach.Another example of how were promised an all inclusive tour but this additional cost was never informed to us while booking. Overall we beared an additional cost of around Rs 2000 additional which was never informed while booking. Lunch at Sahara restaurant again very cheap quality. On our return journey we were told that we will visit carpet factory.
This was neither a factory nor a part of our itinerary, it was just a regular shop of carpets. Waste of time again.
No veena world treat of tea/coffee/ soft drink provided as as mentioned in itinerary.
Back to hotel New Park unhygienic washrooms, bedrooms and food.

5) DAY 5
On this day Shankaracharya temple was to be covered in the morning as per itinerary, this was moved post lunch unnecessarily. It had about 250 steps which was difficult to complete post lunch.
Also at shankacharya temple, no coach only taxis that too at a specific point, post that they asked us to take rickshaws know our own cost at Rs 100/ head. Another example of how we were promised an all inclusive tour but this additional cost was never informed to us while booking. Shalimaar bagh cancelled and no alternate sightseeing provided.No veena world treat of tea/coffee/popcorn/bhutta was provided as mentioned in itinerary.

6) DAY 6
Wake up call at 4 am and leaving for airport at 5am and you counting it as day 6?
Why was our flight not arranged for evening or afternoon?
Also, a mini bus for 27 passengers and luggage was arranged for airport.
People didn't even have a proper place to sit in there.

Sir, request you to please take action against such companies as they have cheated us with our money and ruined our health and well-being as well.
