Veena World — visa refund query - sri lankan jewels aug 2018 tour (vasai branch)

I along with my friend had booked a above said tour as this is our first tour and their website information was good enough. Since i myself belong to visa team in my company i had asked the vasai branch coordinators to help us know if visas could be arranged by us and if so how much would be the refund, procedure for the same. Mind you this was before booking the tour package.

When we decided to go ahead book (May 2018) we were to told that we would have to pay the whole price and they will let us know the visa refund process (Which they did not). The coordinator ms. Neha nivandkar, seemed very un-knowledgeable about the working etiquette in service industry, as there were no follow up calls for our query on visa time and again.

When in june we went to inquire about the forex they were not able to solve the query as they had no knowledge again we asked what would be refund money we would get this time though mr. Ashita (Something) told us that it would be approx[protected] per person following which we asked them the process again!! My friend was informed that we would first have to show the visa copy (Sri lankan visa) to get the said refund.

On july 04 it was said we had to officially send the team an email, literally 02 months after us (Myself & my friend) following up, and then on 11 july 2018 i get a call that my visa was already processed!!! Imagine my surprise.

Then i processed my friend's visa and we sent the visa copy for refund and color us surprised there was new procedure to follow - that they would need cancelled cheque, which we also provided.

After all this trouble the amount that they refunded was mere rs 1050/- where as information was around[protected]/- would be refunded. I have to yet to go on this trip and believe me i m just waiting for the another shoe to drop.

Apart from the above my friend and i were asked to provide faked marriage certificate so that we could share a room on twin sharing basis. That was another battle altogether.

I think mrs. Veena patil should definitely look into this, as this is the complaint could have been avoided with proper follow up and knowledgeable staff.
