This post is to show my concerns towards the poor customer service by Videocon D2H team.
I called D2H customer care on 7th June for relocation of my D2H connection. I got a message instantly that someone from D2H team will visit my home for installation within 24 hrs.
D2H technician visited my home on 9th June & as 1-2 parts were missing so he told me that he will arrange the parts and come again on 10th June.
10th June, D2H technician came to my home. He installed the D2H, but due to network issue that installation didn’t succeed, so he dismantled the parts. The technician told me that he will come again on 12th June, as 11th June was his weekly off. As I was not available on 12th & 13th June, so I told him that I would call him for installation on 14th June (Sunday). On 10th June I also paid him Rs 600 for 1 missing part he arranged for me & DDB installation
14th & 15th June – I called the D2H technician multiple times but I didn’t get any response from him.
15th June at 6 PM – After trying multiple times to reach D2H technician, I called D2H customer care number again. I was shocked to know that status of my installation request was “Closed successfully”. (How they can close the request without confirming with consumer). However after hearing my problem, D2H team again raised a new request & told me that they will take my request on priority and within 8 hrs I will get a call for installation.
16th June 2015 – At 2:30 PM: As I didn't get any call till now so I called D2H customer care again. This time they have raised 1 more request & told me that they will take my request on priority and within 8 hrs I will get a call for installation. What kind of customer service is this??
So latest status is that the 9 days are gone but the installation is still not done.
