Videocon D2H — Videocon D2H mental torture and arm twisting | |||
I've never experienced such a loot in services industry. I started off with Videocon D2h about a year back and bought a new connection for about 2k and then added another one after 3 months where they didn't provide us a dish antenna despite requesting for a separate dish and added the new connection in the same antenna by installing a part 'lfnb' and removing the original one, which they had taken back (ideally should have given us as we paid for it). After 4 further months, I bought another connection in my new house and requested them to relocate the second connection from old house to the new one. Firstly, there was about 3 emails required with 9 forms with NOC etc, which was a painful process. Second, when their engineer arrived, just to inform that if I take out the part from the old connection, the remaining original connection will not work and left. Because he closed the request in his books and I didn't pay the supposedly 300 rupees relocation charge (which was never done) and the engineer didn't ask for it either as he didn't do any work. My second connection was blocked due to non-payment. I recharged with 9500 rupees for one year for both the connections and made the blunder by committing just a day before. When I called the customer care, he mentioned that I can only resume services after deducting 300 rupees from your account and then resumed services. Here is the arm twisting and non-customer eccentric behaviour for which I'll drag videocon d2h to the for the following issues: 1) not providing dish despite insisting while buying the second connection 2) forcing to charge again for the hardware which we have paid for already 3) stopped my satellite link for non-payment of 300, which even their personnel never asked due to no work done. Despite having a balance of 9500 rupees in the account, I had to face all this. I've never gone through such a pain EVER in my relationships with 10 other service providers.
