Same Story, I bought the V1655, apart from being a poor quality phone, I am afraid to say that even the basic features are not properly supported by this handset. First off all even after getting the data driver from the videocon web site, the phone is not getting connected to laptop hence I cant charge the phone. The travel adapter charge not working from the very first month. The call center people would take down your IMEI number and would ask you to visit their service center which takes a week to sort out any damn problem. Finally I have given up, packed this mobile and bough the cheapest phone from Nokia, which works better this phone. STAY AWAY FROM VIDEOCON. THIS COMPANY HAS BOUGHT SOME CHINESE PHONE AND PUT THEIR BRAND ON IT.

I stay at Ambernath, Bombay. My Videocon DTH is 6 months old. I absolutely agree with the above complaint. Even my Videocon DTH has a problem since the 12th of this month. In spite of calling them 3 times daily, they keep telling their technician or engineer will come but nobody has turned up as of today ie 23rd June 2010. When I asked for the nearest service centre address and number, they refused. I asked the Engineer's number. Again they refused. It is more than 10 days since the complaint but the call centre is now avoiding picking up my calls. If I call from PCO they pick up. I don't know what to do. Maybe I should dump the dish at the shop from where I purchased or file a case in the consumer court.Very frustrated, unhappy, stressed and confused...

It has been a extremely tedious procedure to get my Washing Machine serviced.The wilson garden service center has taken a copy of my warranty card and still have not collected the washing machine appliance to be serviced/repaired ( even after 21 days ) .Now center is claiming that I have to raise a 3rd request so that this can be handled.Which means they have closed the ticket number 1 ,they want to close ticket2 ( BAN[protected]) and now they are saying that they can handle this only if a third ticket is opened. Which means ticket ( BAN[protected] and ticket are closed with no resolution ???).I need a frank opinion from you should get this addressed in the consumer Forum ???.I want you to escalate this matter as high as you can.so that the impact is strong.Resolution is only going to keep your customers happy and keep the customer base growing, If you want this act now .....

this is Dr. Zia from Odisha, I absolutely agree to the worst service in the world. my set stopped working even before completing its guarantee term of one year. i called up services center, they told we write the complaint tomorrow. next day they dint pick up the fone. went to the office and gave complaint 15 days later, now they say, the gaurantee period id over and you have pay 8000rs for the LCD panel. after assuring them for rs 8000, nobody has come up with the panel, nobody picks up the fone . i dont wat the hell is going on tin this company, is it a true company or a fraud. it is so frustrating and depressing. god save

Videocon dth service — Refund of Excess amount debited

On 08th May,12, i have done online recharge of Rs 1800 for 6 month subscription through Net banking. During processing the host site showed network error. So again, i did transaction of same amount through card payment which was successfully completed. As per my bank statement
Rs1800 was deducted twice from my account. I wanted recharge for 6 months only, hence requested refund for the amount of Rs1800 to my bank account[protected].

On 18th May'12, i received reply from Videocon stating refund of Rs. 1800 has been processed through cheque number 093467 from IDBI bank and has been sent to my residential address. Till date the cheque has not been received and they are unable to provide details of courier through which the cheque was dispatched.

It has been more than month and the amount is still to be credited to my account.

This mail is on behalf of my brother Mr.Sreekar,visakhapatnam who received an E mail from Naukri.com for job offers in videocon electronics. The mail states that, my brother need to pay Rs 14,200 into a SBI account and they will send the air tickets and job offers letters. This was received by many people across the nation. the mail states that they offer Rs 35,000 to Rs 2 lakhs per month salary and many other perks. How foolish they think..........

I request to probe these incidents and prevernt these fraudlent mails and please update the public to whom we need to contact to lodge the complaints. I request VIDEOCON ELECTRONICS to make a public statement in all types of media national and local news papers about these fraudlent mails.

They need to prevent misuse of their brand name. Please take action and prevent the lives of many unemployed indian youth.

VIDEOCON company should take note of it and inform people.

I am also facing same problem it just automatically disconnects after 30-40 seconds. This is how new mobile services company fools their customers.
Call center help ppl knows nothing they only want to generate their support tickets and have fun.

Please don't buy Videocon for internet purposes stick with Airtel or vodafone.

I think the government should band such network. The service is pethatic. Also i paid 1 rupee for sms even after they have plan of first sms to be 1 rupee and other 1 paisa per day

now again on 8th January 2011 the network was not there indicating Inactive SIM after following the Customer are and the Mira road Golden Nest planet M Office
The contact person at that time said that it will surely be fixed within 48hours till day end of Tuesday the end office team will look into it, but no follow-up on it or no response from their side
after calling them they told now it will be done till Friday end.
Still they say that Address has not been verified, thats why it is showing INACTIVE SIM

2) Photo-copies of Experience Certificates (If any)
3) Photo-copies of Address Proof
4) Two Passport Size Photograph

Your appointment letter/contract agreement and Invitation Letter will be sent to your Home Address by courier after receiving the confirmation of registering documents processing expenses/fee of 10, 000 INR deposited in the required bank (STATE BANK) Also remember, that any Expenses you make on the process of registering your documents shall be refunded back to you on joining our organization, as you submit your expenses report.

Your offer letter will be dispatch very shortly after receiving your confirmation of cash deposited in STATE BANK of 10, 000 INR for registering documents processing expenses/fee. We wish you the best of luck for the subsequent and remaining stage.

You only have two (2) working days to make the cash deposit payment of 10, 000 INR for registering documents processing expenses/fee. Your Letter with supporting documents will be dispatch same time by courier to your postal address after payment has been acknowledged.

I have received the above vacancy offer in my yahoomail. The sender Msr. Sanjit Kumar is asking for a Deposit of Rs.10, 000/- as a confirmation that the candidate will attend the interview. I want to know whether the above offer is genuine of fraud. If fraud then the sender must be punished for duping innocent people.
