I had purchased your Refrigerator 275DX S.No 700121 under exchange offer on 15/12/2006 from M/s SHIVANI ELECTRONICS, K-75, Kalkaji, New Delhi-19 after being convinced that it has a full warranty for 2 years instead of 1 year.

Now when abovesaid product started malfunctioning, I called up Customer Care and came to know that it does not have warranty left though it's compressor is under 6 years warranty period.

An engineer came on 30th October, 08 from one of your service centres situated at 321-A, Ground Floor, Hari Nagar, Ashram, New Delhi and said that the compressor shall be replaced due to the malfunctioning.
Till this, I can understand everything but the next thing being said was that "I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE GAS REFILLING" which is quiet impractical and undigestable as gas will be refilled due to the poor quality of your product and that too under warranty period. I called them up when the engineer left and talked to the manager/owner Mr. Subhash Choudhary Upadhyay and he repeated the same story.

I've read all the terms and conditions you have mentioned in your booklet and nowhere is mentioned this thing that we will have to pay for gas.

I sent a complaint on complaint.com on Sunday and now when no action is there, I'm again requesting you to do the needful in a proper manner as I'm bearing loss of my vegetables, milk and other grossary items due to non working of the refrigerator.

Kindly do it as early as possible.

i buyed fridge.warranty over.here at hanamkonda in andhrapradesh state serviver are not giving good service.they took 2500 to repair they did but it again faild working in two days.like this 5 times happen now they are not giving response.they escaping.tyell me wat to do.

I bought a videocon fridge from RANA ELECTRONICS on last years m/o October but due to coming winter season we did not start the fridge then in coming summer season i starte the fridge & notice that there is no proper cooling given by fridege I complaint for this in customer care 2 & engineer came to see the problem in fridge but he told us some instructions & we observed them but there is no response from fridge now i want to complaint this service in upper level

    Respected Sir/s.

    It was Dec, 07 when I bought refrigerator 275DLX from M/S SHIVANI ELECTRONICS on the basis that it has a 2 years warranty on it which indeed is 1 year.
    Now, It's compressor developed a snag according to the engineer of one of your service centre located at Hari Nagar, Ashram, New Delhi and I was amazed and dissapointed on his words that "U'll have to pay 1500/- for the gas which will be refilled", how can an engineer of such a reputed company talk in such a cheap and illogical manner ?? It surely hurts the dignity o[censored]r International name.

    I'm myself an educated person and read all your terms and conditions which does not show any clause like this that I'll have to pay for the gas which will be lost and refilled due to the bad quality compressor your refrigerator had.

    I'm not ready to pay a single penny which is against my morals.
    Kindly do the needful as early as possible as it's already 2 weeks since we r facing the trouble turned into a harrassment.

      Hello !
      I am from Patna having my address undernoted. Let me inform I have purchased above make of refrigerator in the year 1998. Since last 1 yr or so auto defrost function of my fridge is nonoperational causing frozen ice in deep chamber and low cooling in the lower chamber.

          Sir,

          I purchased a ref from vijay electronics, 4-jayanti market, Jaipur on 5th april 2008of your company model no S 225 FLR.

          there is no cooling in the fridge since 9th Oct 2008 and your service center has not even called back after we filed a complain at both your service center and at Vijay Electronics.

          i am doubly harrassed as the appliance is not working nor is anyone attending us despite repeated calls every day.

            Inspite of giving complaint of non working of our refrigerator(Videocon/S091DLX) since last one week though your custmer care no 39898910, your representative Mr Abdula did come to our home and quoated Rs 1050/- and taken away part Amt. by telling us he will come witin two days from 18/10/08 but unfortunately he didn't came back uptill now nor he is available on his mobile no [protected].Please suggest me how to contact him and get repair the refregerator?. We are very much affected by such kind of service from your end.

              We have a refrigerator manufactured by Videocon purchased 4 month ago. This refrigerator frequently breaks down. After several complaints to the call center Videocon company send a mechanic after 15 days, he came and saw my refrigerator they did not take any action not repared .after this again complaint they came and send this for repair on 10/10/2008 till date i not get my refrigerator. Due to this i am in very big loss because of this some of my medicines became totaly ruined, My wife is facing this time very serious problem. I have told this problem to shopkeeper and dealer also For this loss you are responsible ( That is about 1000000 Rs/-) Because since long we waited for the new Videocon refrigerator till repairing. For abvve given resons and problems we are going to court for justice & this is for your information also.

                      I had purchased a 50 Litres 55X room refrigerator in Apri 2007 . In Mar 08 it was not working and was taken to Mathura Service Center . After two weeks it was returned by Service center saying it was working fine . but on checking at home the problems persists. It was again taken to service center on 13th April 08 and service center said its compressor is not working and till today even after 6 months the same is not repaired . conacted service ceter and service head many times but nothing fruitful happend.

                        I had purchese a split AC make videocon from NEXT dealer apposite raj bhawan bhopal last year.there was a problem with swing motor of AC .on complaning the service centre man came and remove the motor for replacment and assure me to replace it within two or three days.when I ask about the same they reply that the motor of new model is not avelable with videocon company in bhopal.After that I contected mr SAURABH of videocon after about a month he arrenged the same but after getting the same the service centre person is not taking interest to solve my prolem even after contecting so many times on phone.I am of the opineon that the services of videocon is not satisfectory and no body is botherd about it.

                        WE HAVE GIVEN OUR COMPLAINT TO YOUR SERVICE CENTER KOLHAPUR PH NO-0231/2653923 .

                        THE SERVICE ENGG CAME TO ATTEND THE COMPLAINT HE FOUND THAT COMPRESSOR GAS WAS NOT THERE IN OUR FRIDGE COMPRESSOR . WE REQUESTED HIM TO FILL THE GAS IN THE COMPRESSOR, BUT WHILE DOING SO OUR ELECRTYCITY WENT OFF SO HE COULD NOT FILL THE GAS COMPLETELY IN THE COMPRESSOR. SO WE REQUESTED HIM TO WAIT FOR SOME BUT HE DIDNOT LISTEN & CHARGED US RS.850/- ON DATE 17/03/2010 WITH NO JOB NO ON THE BILL/CARD. NOW THE FRIDGE IS STILL NOR WORKING SINCE GAS WAS NOT COMPLETELY FILLED.

                          We bought a videocon LCD T.V.23/09/2007. I used it for only 10 month and within this period that are 4 times repair from videocon.I have get complaint to replacement. now till the date nobody at videocon has been able to help us out and it was purely a harrassment procedure which had happened with their sales departments.For sales officer Mr. ATUL
                          Today T.V. warrenty period closed & yet T.V. get faulted from one and half month.How can Ido?
                          How can they expect form a middle class family to buy such gadgets after every few yearss.. they have to give some repairs and maintenance services for which we are ready to pay.. they have simply raised their hands telling..they cant do anything..

                            I m brother of sunil patil .my brother had brought VIDEOCON LCD T.V.23/09/2007 from vijay sales, mulund. Then that are 4 times big problem & get repair but last month again these problem & not get repaired from videocon service centre. So i get called Vijay sales, mulund 100 times, only told that i give you replacement. i have called u vijay sales landline number for daily 2 to 3 times my mobile bill is aroud 2000/-rupees. I will more times harrasement to vijay sales they only told your complaint is on process.
                            Today T.V. warrenty period is closed.i call vijay sales, he tole me there is no available of replacement quota.when stock of replacement available i give u T.V.
                            So What should u do i?

                            It is obvious that there is difficiency of service that is rather agent based rather than that od Videcon. But, is it appropriate to publish Mr. Yogeh Patil's description of his problems without suitable editing? I hope you understand what it means.

                            Hai Iam rashmi from hubli.maune ek tv kharida hai videocon Bazoomba 1500 vat ka jo bahut problem deraha hai, maine complet bi kiya tha nearest videcon showroom ko response nahi dekaha rahe hai abi tak warranty period me hai aur display ka problem ho raha hai shekh ho raha hai display pls usaka repair karake do, cell no hai [protected], maine jo tv purchase kiya tha us shop ka naam hai kandkoor agency, Durgada bail hubli.

                              No Customer Support From VIDEOCON

                              I have purchased the VideoCon AC on 12 April, 2008 from Electronic Bazaar in Lucknow, UP.
                              The very first day when it was installed by the Videocon executives it has started leakage.And since the water leakage is continuously coming.I have made complaint around 20-22 times.

                              Now the customer support executive has also told me that it should be replaced now I am asking which type of service is provided by VIDEOCON.br...

                              Mitashi Wireless Headphone (j25) Chasis no. 84 date- 15/01/2008 working satisfactory
                              Morphy steam iron ( mirage (j10) date - 15/01/2008 found defective when taken home & got repaired

                              after one month.
                              Vidiocon ctv29 slimtrim (j25) date 15/08/2008. stop working end of june. complained to vijay

                              sales & got repaired after 10 days, soon after one day tv stop working, complained to videocon no. 7 O [protected]
                              which attended after 10 days, 1 day working, again 3rd time tv complained to videocon -no.7 O[protected], tv repaired after 10 days whichis stopped working after one day. On 17/08/2008 I personally visited your thane tiptop showroom & told about videocon tv which is purchased from your showroom. your staff promised me they

                              discuss this matter to mahim branch & will informed me on20/08/2008 +vely. But no reply from your staff. Again I

                              enquired about this matter on 21/08/2008, again I got promised will let you know on 22/08/2008.Till now no reply.


                              From above I find vijay sales keeping defective products in shop & aftercomplained prompt service is not given by

                              you. Even my friends also purchased a Fridge from your shop & found defects.
                              I think better you solve my tv problems & replaced defective tv set as soon as possible.
                              looking forward for your prompt action. ( Keep in mind customer is a big advertiser)

                              Videocon/Slim &Trim 10 — Bad TV

                              I bought a TV two years back and as soon as i got it home, it had problems on front panel buttons. I noticed it a month later since i was only using remote all this while. The remote had stopped working and that is when i realized that the brand new TV had problems. I complained and a person came and gave me a new remote and told me that he will come later to fix the front panel buttons. Two years and i am still waiting. The remote has again stoped working and i am not able to use the TV, with the warranty long expird. Yes - my mistake is not to follow up and get the problem fixed within the warranty period - but i bought a TV for my enjoyment and not to chase people to get it fixed.

                              The consumer court should penalize the company for first giving a bad product and then latter bad service. Also, i should either get a replacement TV or the least it the TV should be fixed.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I had purchase Videocon 29'(Slim Trim) on may ending . now before two weeks it had problem with some parts of TV your mechanical came and repaired the same but after two days same problems arises, mechanical came and he took motherboards of TV and said we will reply withing two days but till i have not get any responce .
                              Today i talk to Customer execucutive regarding the same but they said wait for two more days but now i need full tv set new .

                              Please do favour for me by changing my TELEVISION SET (NEW)

                              the 29" slim trim we bought has become faulty within a year of its purchase...the picture expanded like a chewing gum and the borders became green...the technicians responded only after repeated shouting on the phone and although they claim to provide service in 24 hours they took 17 days to resolve our complaint...then when he came he replaced the EHT(rs 750) one more part worth 250 and charged 250 bucks for such troublesome service...and i am still not convinced that the EHT was really faulty because as soon as he started the TV it became faulty again so he opened it again and just tightened something and the picture became perfect...(he could have done it without repalcing the EHT too)...maybe i'll go to a local electronics store to check whether the EHT actually is faulty and if not i m filing a police complaint...interested people contact me...
                              AND A WORD OF CAUTION before allowing them to replace any part confirm whether it is really faulty because videocon is notorious for cheating customers by replacing perfect parts...

                                I have given the audio system on 14/12/2006 for repairing but till date they have not delivered the system to me .I have contacted them several times and sendthem email many times but neither they have given any response nor deliverd my good almost ONE year and 9 months is over

                                JOB NO 7256 dt 14/12/2006 given to CENTRAL SERVICES but now it has been shifted to PATNA TECCARE

                                Please help me to get my audio back from their devi hands.

                                  I bought videocon washing machine SA 63 from NEXT, next to Akbar Ally's outlet, Chembur in May'08. they had promised me to give a trolley which was not provided to me on delivery when asked for it they did provide me with the trolley and the washing machine which was both defective. within a day o[censored]sage i came to know that water does not stop in wash tub & drainage pipe has holes in it. i had to get a technician to get it corrected. after a month's time the washing machine again stopped working so i had to lodge a complaint. then a technician named, Faizal Khan, came & found that there was a dead rat stuck in the panel just below the spin tub spring. in the process on cleaning it he tried to remove the spin tub lid he broke the hole where the spring was attached then he put some tape to ensure that the washing machine works in the absence of the spring. he also stated that there is no spin tub lid in stock we will have to request for one and pay for it. till date no one came to replace it. now the washing machine again stopped i filed a complaint on 05/09/08 complaint#7MA[protected] on 06/09/08 a technician came did some wiring and went back putting OK on the complaint. now again when i tried to use the washing machine i can't use it. Again i have lodged a complaint #7MA[protected] for the spin tub lid and wiring connection. what should i do??? this is the first time i'm facing so many problems with videcon. i have been having videcocon washing machine for past almost 10-12 years now and never it has given me so many problems. either you get all these problems sorted asap or else i'll have to either go to consumer court or put it in media.

                                    My brother Mr. Basudeb SInha gifted me a washing machine, purchased
                                    from your store on 03/08/2008 ref. Bill No.2004 Book No. 36 Dt.
                                    03/08/2008. Model Multie 6800 plus Vidoecon Col. pink.

                                    Fisrtly none came from the company for installation. I started
                                    operating the machine on 10th August'2008 and found that the spin tub
                                    was not wroking, I called your showroom and a complaint was lodged
                                    ref. Com. No. 5A[protected]. Your technician came and repaired it,
                                    again there was a similar prob and the tech came and repaired it. Now,
                                    I am facing the same problem, the spin tub is again not wroking. I
                                    called Mr. Chauhan yesterday on [protected] and I was told to speak to
                                    Sandhya on [protected]. After making 10 calls I managed to speak to her
                                    and I was asuured the tech would come by evening. When I called again
                                    in the evening I was told to speak to Mr. Saini on [protected], and I
                                    spoke to him also, he assured me the tech. will come by evening. BUT
                                    nobody came finally.

                                    Now...I woudl request you to take neccessary action and replace
                                    the washing machine within 3/4 days. Failing which I would be
                                    compelled to move to the CONSUMER COURT.

                                    This is to bring to your notice the Electrolux make of Washing Machine model No. EWS70 Classic Plus vide Serial No. 64310344 purchased by the undersigned.



                                    The above mentioned machine was purchased from your local distributor /Dealer is M/S. GUPTA DISTRIBUTORS of Buxi Bazar, Cuttack., Orissa. It is to bring to your notice that this model of your machine has been constantly giving us problems since its purchase 1 1/2years back, probably due to some manufacturing defects in this model. There is no proper service back up and even after repeated reminder to your distributor when the service personnel comes, the machine operates for a short period, then again some or the other problem comes up. This has happened a number of time and it is badly affecting the purpose for which the machine was purchased.



                                    We have also purchased different makes of washing machine previously which had a satisfactory operating life. So I would like to draw your attention to this problem and request you to solve it, or replace the above model with a superior quality machine.

                                    Videocon Washing Machine — Defective Motor fitted by Rag rEF.

                                    We have lodge a complaint for WM.One engineer came from Raga Ref--Ashram--Videocon Authorised Service Centre.He fitted defective motor in our machine.

                                    Videocon Washing Machine — machine defective -

                                    I purchased a videocon washing machine -model 6001DX SN 1100292 from m/s
                                    M/s jyoti Electronics meerut vide voucher no 02/ 053 dated
                                    [protected] for rs 10300. The machine gave trouble from the beginning
                                    and service centre paid visits and attended the same. we brought it to
                                    their notice that machine has some inherent defects and requires
                                    replacement of some vital parts like motor and gear box. they kept
                                    pleading that we are attending it As soon as the warranty period
                                    expired they declared that motor is out of order and gear box too and
                                    they require replacement for which I am to be charged. as warranty
                                    period has expired.
                                    My feeling is that the co did not take notice of the major defects
                                    during warranty period and let it pass so as to avoid replacement
                                    and let customer suffer. It being a unethiical trade practice
                                    requires to be addressed fully . i request you to investigate the
                                    entire period of warranty / transaction and redress my problem . I
                                    request you to meet my genuine demands and get my machine replaced
                                    and compensate for my harassment at the hands of your service centre
                                    and dealer
                                    Hope you willl look into the matter and do the needful to meet my
                                    genuine grievances and not let me esclate the matter further.

                                    Washing Machine — defective

                                    I bought a washing machine from the chembur outlet of NEXT. In spite of repeated request for delivering the machine after making a call to me the machine was suddenly brough to home at 7.30pm Luckily we were at home and we accepted the delivery on 20th of aug. The machine was bought on 14th. only on 9th september someone came to install and show the demo. The machine was found defective and a new machine was delivered on 11th september. Till today no one came to install the machine. In all I bought the machine on 14th Aug and till 14th sep I haven't got the machine for use.

                                      Dear Sir /Madam,

                                      I have purchased one videocon airconditioner(model no-5244)as on 19.6.08 (only two months back) from Khanna brothers, sector -7c, Chandigarh.

                                      From installation till date i have been mentally harased by your dealer as well as by service people.A product which is available at your "Next( company) show room" for Rs.14500 have been given me on Rs.17000.When i have discussed the same with your dealer he did not paid heed to me.

                                      Following points i would like to brought to your kind notice.

                                      1.Over charged (Rs.2500) by the dealer for a product which is availble in market for Rs.14500 where as i have charged Rs.17000.

                                      2.No demostration till date even after two months.

                                      3.Cooling problem started from day one.

                                      4.Ac direct starts while switching on.

                                      5.High noise.

                                      6.Service people not paying heeds to my complaints.I have lodged jobs vide job no -SG[protected] dated 25.6.08 and SG[protected] dated 30.7.08 with your call centre.

                                      7.Personally lodged compliant at Khanna brother as on 20.8.08 but till date no response.

                                      8.Service people and dealer doing experiments with new AC but no solution till date.

                                      I humbly request you to intervene and replace my defective AC with new one or refund my hard earned money.Hope positive response from your side other wise i have no option other than proceeding to honble consumer forum.
