Vidyamandir Classes — irresponsible and unfair attitude of vmc towards fee refund

Sir, i am a 12th pass non-medical student of delhi and had enrolled in vidyamandir classes, pitampura, delhi 12th pass droppers batch as i was not satisfied with my performance in jee exam. I wanted to wait for some time for the csab special round (For admission in nits and iiits) as i was hopeful of getting a seat in nit in that special round. But i had to take admission at that time in vmc, pitampura (Well known for its students' record performance in jee) as it was there last batch for this year and i could not enroll there afterwards. Also during admission time i had enquired from the institute (Vmc) regarding the refund of fees in case i get admission in any engineering institute. The staff told me that except for rs 20, 000 which was non-refundable and rs 10, 000 which was the institute's monthly fees no extra amount would be charged in case i withdraw my admission before 1 month. They added that rs 30000 was the maximum amount that i would have to pay in that case. I took admission there on 15/7/2017 and started attending the classes. Meanwhile i applied for csab special round and fortunately got admission in nit, delhi whose result was announced on 30/7/17. So on next day i went along with my father to vmc to withdraw my admission but it was 31/7/17 (Monday) and vmc, pitampura kept its office closed on mondays, so we went back home. We tried to call their staff many times thoroughout that day but no one answered our calls. On next morning of 1/8/17, we went again to vmc, pitampura and informed them about my admission. Their staff told us to write a written application for withdrawal of admission. I did so and was assured that they would do their best to return our money back as soon as possible. When we asked them how much money would they refund they told us that as we had applied on 1/8/17 for refund of fees now i would have to pay 2 month fees (Including august) to vmc. We argued that my result has come on 30/7/17 (Evening) and vmc's office as closed the next day so how could we withdraw before 1st august. Moreover i had taken admission on 15 july and classes had started from 17 july how could they charge 2 month fees for only 14-15 working days. Then the staff assured us that we would do our best. They also assured us that we wont be charged for august fees as our case was genuine as i had even submitted my proof of admission in nit delhi to them. We also asked them whether i could enroll in their dlp (Correspondance) course so that i could study for jee 2018 with their study material. But the staff refused to adjust that money with correspondence course and told us that we would be charged separately for that.in other words they refused to even adjust the money anywhere leave aside refunding and told us that it was our fault and they could do nothing. All this happened when they even knew that even during admission time i had informed them that i could withdraw my admission from there if i got admission in nit and they had assured that they would do their best. They did not even give me all the books so that i could atleast prepare for jee next year. After approximately 1 month i have received only rs 30, 000 out of rs 70, 800 that i had paid during admission. Now when we went to ask them why have they charged us extra 1 month fees when i have not even attended a single class in august they say that it is not their problem and they cannot do anything. Sir, i belong to a middle class family and so you might understand that rs 40, 800 is not a small amount which is going all in vain that too when i had gone to vmc only for 15 days. So, i kindly request you to look into the matter and do some justice over the issue...
