My family was on vacation from March 22nd until March 31st 2012 and happen to purchase two sareed from Vijayalakshmi Silks, Thiruvalla, Kerala as gift for the two mothers. Lately, it was found that the colour of the saree was coming out on hands even before washing. Though this could not be identified unless it was worn. The sarees were taken to Vijayalakshmi Silks, Thiruvalla and stated the problem. The message was "You should have looked at the material before purchasing it". I am surprised how can business organisation ever say this.
I still have the sarees and the original bills with me. I am surprised that the shop never realised that business flourishes on the simple business technique of WORD OF MOUTH.
