I am writing to file a formal complaint against VIP bags regarding the damage of my Carlton suitcase and the warranty coverage provided. I am Sonya Lizbeth, and I recently used my Carlton suitcase to travel from India to the UK. When I received the suitcase back, it had a huge crack, rendering it unusable. The suitcase is still under warranty, and I have attempted to make a claim for airport damage. However, I was informed that airport damage is not covered under the warranty, which contradicts what is advertised.
I am disappointed with VIP’s lack of accountability and transparency regarding their warranty policy. After researching my rights as a consumer, I have found that I am entitled to certain protections under the law, which I believe VIP has not met.
I have attempted to resolve this issue with VIP’s customer service, but my efforts have been met with unsatisfactory responses. Furthermore, after reading through VIP’s social media channels, I have found that many other customers have also shared their negative experiences with VIP’s products and customer service.
As this issue involves a significant amount of money and as I am a student I am seeking compensation for the cost of repairs or replacement of my damaged suitcase, as well as any additional damages incurred due to the inconvenience caused by this issue. I also demand that VIP review and revise their warranty policy to accurately reflect what is advertised and provide clear and concise information to their customers.
