We have purchased the sky bag from 3777-Defence Lab ., Ratanda Palace, Jodhpur . Date- 4/7/2014 . Bill NO.- 004928. After 15 day of purchase the bag started cuting from cloth and getting shrink.We talked at the cateen for replacement but there was no reply till 1 month and we also went to vip stores also.     VIP Skybag trolley warranty service

    I have purchased a Skybags trolley bag from Bigbazar, Hyderabad on August, 2012. It has a 3 years international warranty. I called the German customer service number ([protected]) provided in the warranty card and they told me to contact VIP customer service via email ([protected]@vipbags.com; [protected]@vipbags.com) to have further details on the warranty service in Germany.     I had purchased a STAPLE DG LAPTOP SATCHEL (Serial No: PE-CI11110003, Color: Black) from IBRAHIM & BROS. Exclusive VIP showroom, Abid Road, Hyderabad, in November 2012 for a price of Rs.3150/- (Bill no 970). But within 6 months, the inner linings started tearing off and Zippers were not working properly. Shocked at the poor quality, I contacted the VIP lounge at Park Lane, Secunderabad, they send it for servicing. Instead of replacing the inner lining they have the re stitched torn lining, but after 3 months it again started tearing off and zippers were not working properly and this has repeated thrice. So kindly check in to this matter.

    REGARDING LOCK

        I bought a VIP suitcase for Rs.7200 5 months back. When I was buying the suitcase, the shopkeeper emphasised that the suitcase was most suitable for air travel, was unbreakable and scratch proof. He insisted that I bought that suitcase as it would be most suitable for me. However, the suitcase has broken after just 1 air travel. I have a 5 year warranty for the suitcase. However, the shopkeeper refuses to own any responsibility for the damage and virtually told me to throw away the suitcase. Its outrageous that I have to throw away a suitcase bought for Rs.7200 after using it only once. I appeal to the consumer forum to please do something about this.

          We bought VIP Glider strolly 70 from one of your prestige's showroom
          "INC 69, 69-A, Sarojani nagar market, New Delhi. Phone:[protected]".
          Date of purchase is 09th of October, 2008. And my luggage serial
          number is A/8 – 008035. It was inspected by Mr. P. PATIL.
          I have small questioned that while delivering any goods are you doing
          proper inspection. If yes, then I have serious suggestion please take
          the action among the people who do this cause from the very next 2nd
          my side lock stop working. We bought this luggage for our marriage
          purpose but sorry to say we have taken the worst decision to choose
          VIP.

          With in 10 days the front lock and side lock stopped working and the
          worst ever worst thing is that we have taken this damage luggage to
          the VIP dealer in Meerut(U.P.) on 18th Oct, 08 and also the dealer in
          Borivali(west) in Mumbai in the month of November both dealer said
          that we are not going to deal in this case, as this product is
          defective and out of stock.

          But while buying this luggage the shop owner of INC-69, Delhi told us
          that for any problem regarding this luggage you have to keep your
          warranty card and you can get free warranty on all the things which
          are going to be happening in the luggage free of cost for 3 years any
          dealer in anywhere in India.

          If VIP can’t provide a proper service than what is the use of
          3 years International guarantee card. I'm fed up from this and
          would like to request you to take proper action against this and
          replace my luggage ASAP

          I have the same complaint against VIP Glider Strolly 77 DNB bought from VIP Lounge Naveen Market Kanpur on 15/05/2009. The strolly handle is defective and is unable to slide back. I am presently in USA and informed the VIP customer care promptly, though they haven't bothered to respond to my complaint. I am here with a worthless VIP International warranty card (valid for 3 years). I have contacted them repeatedly with photos of the defect in luggage, copies of visa and immigration details, Tax invoice and all documents sought by them. However they haven't responded.

          I understand that the VIP Industries is making a fool of its customers by issuing an International warranty card. I wish strict action should be initiated against the company. I have vowed that I am not going to purchase any VIP product in my life time, and would request others to not buy luggage and other stuff from VIP Industries in India or abroad.

          VIP strolly purchased in Hyderabad Dec 2011, on first journey itself within one week handle locked so could not wheel. Returned to dealer, same thing happened twice again!
          No news after latest return on 14.4.13!

          NEVER buy VIP!
          I purchased a VIP bag last year 2013. The bag looked very solid and reliable. After one year the handle sliding mechanism broke so the bag was useless . I do not live in India but I travel there for work every, now and then. I am located in Europe. Since I still have the invoice and all their "3 years international warranty papers" I contacted their supplier in the UK but I got the mail rejected. Then I wrote to their email in India. I took me 3 mails and a phone call to India to get a reply. They shipped me a replacement handle that did not match the original so after spending 2 afternoons trying to fix the bag I wrote them back and they never answered again. The bag is in the trash bin now. I have no time to do their job (that is, fix the bag) and they never offer a replacement bag (I sent them many pictures showing the broken bag).

          VIP bags have the worst International warranty I have ever experienced. Not to mentioned their quality. The bag lasted 1 year (that is 4 trips) before it broke.

          If you can buy another brand, do not hesitate. Do not buy VIP bags. All their warranty policies are just bubbles. It is worth to spend some more ruppes and buy Desley or Samsonite, even Targus.

          Write me back if you want more info on this case.

          Third class service & useless bag.I also similar experience.I purchased Skybag from Reliance Pune & travelled to Belgium.There warranty card clearly says international replacement warrant.After reaching Belgium trolly bag's chain got damaged & slip.So sent email to them & to my surprise they replied that bag will be replaced once you reach India.My travel date is appearing & they cant sent to Belgium...then they stopped responding.Below is the response from executive Sonali Desai...

          I have given my bag for repairing before 2 months at Badlapur west, Mumbai branch but every time the shop dealer is giving some excuses.
