[Resolved]  Vistara — No Refund after 2 years on account of flight cancellation due to COVID

This is to intimate you that I have not yet received my refund on account of my cancelled flight due to Covid. As this is now almost 2 years, I requested Vistara Customer relations to expedite refund with two reminders for my cancelled flight on account of Covid but till date there is no response from this 'TATA' brand!

The nodal officer replied in the email and the amount was transferred to the travel agent who in turn credited it.
Vistara customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Further on 16th April, 2022 the Nodal officer relied denying payment on the ground that the ticket was only valid for 365 days from the date of creation of the ticket resulting in expiry of PNR QJGOYG and no refund can be processed by them. They also advised to contact the travel agency for further queries.
I wrote them back protesting their unilateral decision on this without any communication.
In fact the way Vistara, a reputed TATA brand replied, looks like a simple pretext to avoid rightful obligation of customer payment.
I urged them to make immediate payment and also to consider an additional interest payment at prevailing market rate for the delayed period.
It appears that TATAs are not living up to their brand reputation while many other airlines operator in the country have made forthright payment to customer on account of sudden flight cancellation due to COVID lockdown.

Pls note i had booked air ticket from DLI-FRA (frankfurt) and vice versa with reference no. V6LY5Z from Vistara airline
. The total amount was INR 59, 450/- . Unfortunately return flight was cancelled by vistara. I applied for refund. I have mailed them thrice to inform about the status of refund and the amount that will be refunded back but till date I have not got any reply from them.
Also as informed 2 weeks ago, I had to pay more to buy new tickets from DLI-FRA.
