We decided to buy an otg and visited viveks, selaiyur, chennai branch. Since we had only one brand philips showcased we viewed the same and decided to buy. The sales person was keen on billing fast and she did this quickly. But the worst part is we were waiting for the material to be handed over for 30-45 minutes. Since i had paid the money she did not really care to close our case and started attending other cases in parallel. After several reminders only she went to the storag room and brought the otg. To our surprise the carton was damaged and we insisted to open to verify the material. She refused and said this will be done only by philips person while installing.
After 2 days of follow up with the shop the philips person came on 3rd day for installation. While he opened the material it was found dents in the equipment. We called the shop and none picked up the phone. So we took an transport with material to the shop and asked for replacement. Since there was no other piece than the showcased one, we were left to pick the display one and again pay for the transport charges.
While we pay the money in full for the product, it was an pathetic experience and once for all we will not be visiting any vivek's shop in future.
