As mentioned on the website VLCC is a category leader with leading market share and number of company owned outlets in the Indian wellness services market. VLCC has a staff strength of over 4, 000 professionals, including medical doctors, nutritionists, and cosmetologists, and has served over 5 million consumers.
Seeming this I have enrolled for 2 courses in the Oct, 2021
1. Certificate course in clinical nutrition
2. Certificate course in Weight management & slimming therapies
However, to my surprise it was found that VLCC was not at all professional in the way they manage their consumers. This is derived from the following observations.
1. Being in the digital world and with the scenario of pandemic situation, soft copies of the study material is not provided.
2. The hard copy of the study material provided is not at all a classy material and does not seem professional. It shows many grammatical/typo errors.
3. Some of the important topics are also missing in course material e.g. Vitamin B5 an essential vitamin is not depicted in the provided course material of Clinical nutrition
4. The RDA values mentioned in the study material are not revised according to new guidelines and are being informed to learn old RDA values for clearing exams.
5. The test paper were not at all professionally given (poor quality of handwritten photocopies)
6. Questions in the test paper provided were not relevant to the study material provided.
7. Poor quality of digital media/ online teaching/online learning module
Based on the above observation, it seems VLCC is unprofessionally managed.
