Vodafone Idea — Deactivating my SIM without warning

I lost my job as no one was able to contact me for 24hrs. It was because Vodafone idea services decided to deactivated my SIM without any previous warning( through SMS/call/e mail/whatsapp) whatsoever. It took me 4-5hrs just to realise what caused this. When I approached nearest customer care center they also took time to detect the issue...which it turns out was that my SIM was completely deactivated. As I have no other SIM and no way to contact my workplace/friends and family, no one was able to contact me for nearly 12-13 hrs. I lost my job eventually because of it. I am porting my SIM to Airtel/ JIO first thing tomorrow. The experience with customer care/ e-services of VI is baffling and very poor. I would advice everyone reading this to avoid using Vodafone-Idea as it is the least reliable service provider in india
