Caller tones

This is just one of the never ending miseries o[censored]sing Vodafone service. Last time I tried to be good to them by switching to prepaid from post paid as I was going back home to North east (As I won't be able to pay them my bills from there and I didn't want to default on paying bills). I cleared all the bills and paid them the extra amount meant for the new sim as well for continuing with the same number. But all this genuine gesture...

    Hi,

    I am a vodafone mobile user, I am facing network problem from last couple of months, I couldn't get it resolved.Finally putting it here.

    I am getting same response from them, that we planning to install a new site in your area in few days, I can't see the new site but I can see the new hoarding after few days, I guess vodafone is busy in putting hoarding instead of putting network towers.

    Here is the email, that I wrote to Vodafone, multiple times but no written reply from then just phone calls saying we'll resolve it soon.

I had complained to customer care a lot of times, but always received a same response "We are going to install a new tower near pune station".     In our flat, balcony or even in our society the network signal bar on cell display goes up and down rapidly and sometimes it completely goes off. The location display also varies, sometimes it shows ruby hall, modal colony, sancehti, koregaon park ...Due to this I am facing a lot of problems. I am not able to talk even I am standing in the balcony of my flat. Its very irritating. I was happy with Hutch, when I was in Delhi, But In pune I am fed up with the network of Hutch.

    me few friends have changed the service provider due to this coverage problem.

    One thing, I want to add here is, there is no problem with my cell. Its nokia 6030 bought last year, and earlier I was using 3315. So please don't suspect any problem with the handset that's not the case, I have tried using some other cell phone but results were same.

    Please look into this issue as soon as possible.

    i am using vodafone prepaid service from last 3 years but i am very sorry to inform that the signal strength in pimple saudagar, pune is so weak that it's causing call drops, fluctuation in signal as well as disturbance during the active call, regarding those issues i have made several complaints in vodafone but the situation is same and every time i receive a call from vodafone technical department and they inform that very soon vodafone is going to install a new tower in pimple saudagar, pune as this is not only my individual problem same problems is faced by many other customer of pimple saudagar too and without my information they closes my complaint in the complaint tracking system.
    when ever i call back to customer care to inquire about my complaint they inform that my previous logged complaint is closed.

    so i want to make a complaint against vodafaone that either they should install the tower first and only after that the can close my complaint or they have no right to close my complaint till the problem is resolved.

    i request you to take strict action against vodafone to stop the game of cheating with the customers and resolve the network issue by installing a new tower in pimple saudagar, pune as soon as possible.

    Vodafone — Closing complaints without informing the customer or resolving it

    Sir,

    This is with regards to the complaints that I have been lodging with vodafone since the past couple of months for the innumerable telemarketing / promotional sms'es and calls that I receive on a regular basis which now has become a nuisance. Everytime that I lodge a complaint with Vodafone, the same is closed without my knowledge and on calling them back, a fresh complaint for the same reason is lodged again. So far around 4 complaints with the same concern have been raised by me but closed by them without even letting me about it. The sms mentions that "As per your feedback, we are closing this complaint" However, for the closure I do not see anyone calling up and taking my consent to have my complaint closed in other words, to confirm if my issue is resolved.

    Another rather funny part about this whole thing is that though escalation email id's are provided, it doesnt matter if you escalate your concern from the nodal officer to the Appellate Authority, your mail still goes to the same and revert received from the same set of represntatives. The complainants are supposed to get in touch with Ms. Zillah who happens to be at a sr,. management level at Vodafone , however never even once inspite of all my esclation has she tried getting in touch with me and understand my greivance.Post this escalation, I did mark a mail to Appelllate Authority. This mail too went to Ms Zillah as well and I was nce again called up by her representative.

    There was also an ocassion wherone of the representative Mandar closed my complaint ...the reason...he wasnt keeping well (thats what i was told by him ) which was later on coorrected by his senior as technical glitch which sometimes happens with the system where the complaints are automatically closed(Dont know wher shoudl i start thinking from).

    I have intimated them about taking a legal course due to this mental harrassment but to no vain. They are least bothered and have closed my complaint already...this again without informing me.

    Sir there is problem of network coverage and call drop in our office , due to which we suffer a lot and also my bill amount has increased by 20%. sir i have complaint verbally and in written lots of time , the executive comes here for verification but does nothing since last one year. At last i got the reply from vodafone custumer care that you have to bear for another 03-04 months.Please note that our office is in one of the post prime location of Vapi town. i.e GIDC Char Rasta beside GIDC office.

    Hello there,

    I am using 2 mobile number [protected] and [protected], this number was portability from Idea opeartor.

    There is some issues of monthly bill charges all time then i have changed to operator Idea to Vodafone.

    Complain: 1) Without any intimation Vodafone disconnect my both mobile, this is really bad.

    reason is pay your due amount of last operator.

    2) Nowadays always getting text messages of a harassing like credit limit is 1500 Rs

    plz pay this amt otherwise disconnect this connect.


    I think this is not good way to handle your corporate customer.Please increase my limit so that not get text messages of a harassing.

    I really appreciate the time that you have actually taken to speak with these vodafone and their team..
    I live on sinhgad road near dandekar pul and have been a constant visiter at the sinhgad road vodafone store to no avail..
    They keep assuring about a new tower that they are planning to have near parvati which will stop these issues..
    At one point of time the executive even blamed my new iPhone 5 to be faulty. Well that can be possible only after giving me an explanation of the same things happening on my brother's Sony Xperia L, and my dad's Nokia Asha 300..
    Sorry but that's just not possible.
    I'm done talking with them and have finally decided to go to Tata Docomo as my next option.
    I am a Vodafone user, past 5 plus years. I chose vodafone for a balance of reliability and performance, as I didn't wanted super performance with less reliability, all I expected is more then average performance with consistency.

    In 2012, I kept getting messages from vodafone to recharge at 3G plans for automatically getting 3G speeds on my existing card. I did, things worked fine for a year, post which speed, call drop, number unavailable popped up. I updated to Canvas 2 phone a year back, things were still okay, till until a month back, crap started. I live in a IT campus, where most operators have 100% of their services.

    At any given 1 min, my network bars fluctuate from 0 to 4 ten fifteen times, difficulty in calling someone, call drops, poor audibility, have to shout on call, have to borrow others cell. Be it inside house or under the open sky. Data usage is worst, i keep recharging for 1GB or more packages and signal fluctuates from E to H. Funniest part is even with zero network bars, it shows connected to H.

    Called Vodafone, did tons of settings, replaced other SIM's into my phone, they work superb. Used my card into others, It sucked for range.

    Now the tech dept of Vodafone call centre says, replace SIM as its old, submit documents, pay a small fee and it would be done.

    MY QUESTION IS, before sending a message to a customer to keep recharging with 3G plans, cant VODAFONE check with SIM compatibility.

    If I have to do the documentation process again, I will better go with Docomo or Airtel, which keep luring me with their offers.

    WORST customer support. Vodafone, you gonna let a 5 year old subscriber Go AWAY just like that?

    Advise: Don't get lured by big names, Don't get lured by cheap plans.
    I have been Vodafone Post Paid customer for about two years. Before that I was prepaid customer for about 8 years. My problem is absolute poor network connection at my residence.. First I was using One Plus One mobile. Since the problem was not solved I had gone for Samsung Galaxy A5. No improvement. Some one from Vodafone told me to select WCDMA and not WCDMA+GSM. Initially it worked. Now during last one week there is no signal of H. Sometimes I get E. But majority of the time its EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. I have missed many phone calls. Even when I receive phone calls it is disturbed with voice cracking.
    What is the solution? Should I change service provider to Idea Cellular. I was told even Airtel is not better than vodafone. Any suggestion?

    hear vodafone network is very poor not even single point of signal is available.it come like passing air and goes in a second so please work on this or else customers in this area may move to another network.

I Have been charged twice for the callertune on 13th Of June 2008 since then I am calling the cuctomer care and none of them are giving responce and say that my complaint has been forwarded and the amount will be credited into my account within 24 hours but till now no one is responding and when i asked an exicutive to transfer the call to his senior exicutive then he kept me on holt for nearly 10 minutes and disconnected the phone .For such type of behavior towards their customer can i Sue The Company?

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I was having 2 vodafone nos. [protected] & [protected]- on my wifes name - Nivedita ...while taking I had been told by the C.care Executive VIJAY that - your Rs.500 deposite for each no. will be refunded at ANY POINT OF TIME YOU STOP SERVICES...I was ok with that...they took 3 Signatures on one form with very small font terms & conditions. not even gave time to read it when asked replied -"Sir its all same what i have told you" was the answer of staff "VIJAY". I was told - you will immideatly get a free caller tune for 3 months & 1 DVD of movie...which I never got in 4 months service...
          I was told to take one plan for 1st 3 days as it can be activated ASAP...& then i will get transfer to the Actual Plan which I REQUIRED...but that procedure took near about 2 months & 25 calls for follo-up & 5 personel visits at Vodafone Center at Dombivli(w).
          After every bill payment before due date I use to get 15 calls to PAY YOUR BILL after due date...Even if i told them my Receipt no. of payment they use to ask me TO FAX it to Vodafone...What I can do for such type of Mental Harrasament & headache...
          Then after getting frustrated I asked them to close my nos. & give me my 1000 RS. Deposit or adjust it with My bill...
          they told me ...THIS DEPOSIT MONEY CANT BE REFUNDED AS YOU ARE CANCELLING BEFORE ONE YEAR...I AM ANSWERED FROM THEM THAT - YOU HAVE SIGNED YOUR FORM IN WHICH ALL THESE TERMS ARE MENTIONED - WE DONT CONCERN WHAT OUR STAFF COMMITS TO CUSTOMER...WE HAVE OFFICIAL PROOFE WITH YOUR SIGNATURE...YOU CANT GET YOUR MONEY BACK...
          NOW I AM GETTING LEGAL NOTICES & THREATNING CALLS FROM VODAFONE for my bill amount of Rs. 1092 only...I am more angry on the stand they are taking & their commitment & services...

            i run a vodafone connection since last three months. they have many times taken my balance off by various purposes. they give you a vocal call and ask you to press any digit for example 5 if you accept the offer.
            but [censored] the company as you press any button they accept the entry and cut off your balance...
            i have everytime immiediatly called to the customer care and they say..."sir pls call after 24 hrs as we cannot see any entry here"

            then in some hrs your balance evaporates to there pocket and when you call them again...they simply say "sir, ab to balance kat gaya hai...now we can't do anything..."

            this is a really bull ...i have lodged a complaint application to t.r.y and they say the this is a genuine case any i will be provided with claim from vodafone...today i am going to seek a "vakeel" and if i win the case...

                  Hi,

                  This is with regards to my mobile no-[protected] which I took while I was working with Convergys, Gurgaon in August'05.

                  Now I would like to change it over to a prepaid connection from a post paid connection due to excessive & incorrect billing, I visited the Vodafone store at D-27, Cannaught Place a number of times in the past couple of months regarding this issue but they are making all kinds of excuses one after another & virtually refused to do the needful.The last time I visited the store they told me that this is a corporate connection & I need to get a NOC from Convergys before they can change it to a prepaid connection or to get in touch with the relationship manager.

                  At this point I would like to clarify that this is not a corporate number at all because when I took this number my previous employer Convergys was not involved at any point of time & all the documents that I had submitted while applying for the connection was my own & all the bills for this number has been borne by me till date, I have already spoken with the HR team at Convergys & they are also of the same opinion that there are many employees who have taken such connections from Hutch/Vodafone, Airtel etc & this has got nothing to do with Convergys & they cannot go about issuing NOC to each & every employee.

                  The people at the Vodafone store seem to be under the impression that this number was subscribed to by Convergys & provided to me for use at that time which is absolutely false.

                  It does happen under certain circumstances wherein an organisation might subscribe to certain numbers for the use of its employees & those numbers are specific to such positions as in a transport or a HR helpline number, if in case that partcular employee leaves the number is given to the next person & those numbers are specific to that position & is being maintained & paid for by the company itself.

                  Now I would request you to go through the details for this number & either send me a letter in writing or put relevant notes on the account for my number so that I can change it to a prepaid number & get rid of the excessive billing problem which I have been facing for a long time now.

                  I just hope that someone is going to look into this issue & get it resolved shortly.

                    i am the corporate user of Vodafone mobile services in Uttranchal and i am facing the peculiar problem that although the signals are available in the area and on my mobile phone where i stay but i am neither recieving the calls nor i am able to dial the calls, The same problem is there with my parents mobile who come from Punjab and are on roaming has also not recieving the calls nor able to make the calls.i am the bank employee and any lapse in the services on mobile has been resulted in the security issue of the bank.The customer care is also not able to take the complaint saing that the system is on upgradation so we are not able to take the complaint. Well, the answer for this is that these numbers are issued on ordinary SIM cards (and not on blank e-top up SIM cards). As per the information gathered by me, these nos. have been swapped by Shipra Communication, Bijnor. He has charged Rupees 200 for this and did not even bother to collect the authenticated ID proofs and other necessary documents. Because, these SIMs are not issued on the blank E-top up SIMs, so recharging can't be done through these nos. but still these nos. come with lower call rates and are thus being negogiated for a price of more than 1500 Rupees.In addition to these nos., they are also using few BPRT nos. which are as follows:

                      As you must be knowing, these nos. come with following special features:
                      Every month balance is credited into these nos. by the Co.These nos. can get assistance from 765Can check the status of any other prepaid / pospaid vodafone number.
                      These numbers belong to different circles but are being used in Dhampur and that too by these two unauthorized persons. For your kind information, I would like to stress this fact that neither these persons nor any of their relatives have ever worked with Vodafone or Hutch.Also they got access to a D.S.E. SIM ([protected] Gupta Enterprises, Dhampur). This number came with the facility of Hac/Dehac. They Dehac'd many numbers through this number. Let me tell you that even I have been a victim of the misuse of these nos. and that's why I took pains to bring it to the higher levels, i.e., your knowledge.Few of the nos.                         Subject: Excessive Bill Amount.

                        With reference to the above subject, I would like to share you that I am one of the old Vodafone customer and having this ([protected]) no. for last three and a half years or so. I have been facing several problems regarding my Vodafone bill amount for last six months. At that time I got a Hutch Plan of rupees 444. In this plan 444 messages are provided absolutely free from Hutch. The matter is that six month ago I had sent around 250 messages to my known people on the occasion of some festival. Next month I got the bill of excessive amount of rupees around 350. When I inquired regarding the same to the Hutch customer care. I got the reply from Hutch representative that they charged me extra amount due to excess messages sent during the festive season. I clearly told that customer care executive that I am not suppose to give that extra amount of messages as the Hutch 444 plan consists 444 messages free. Hence I would not pay the extra amount. I request him to eliminate the extra amount from my bill otherwise you may disconnect my phone connection. My phone connection was not disconnected and I was keep paying my Hutch bill amount except the extra charges but from that period of time there was 100 rupees + service tax extra charge (late payment) get added on my Hutch bill every month. This resulting the extra amount now increases up to around 1100 rupees.

                        It is entirely the harassment of customer services & rights.

                        I request you to please do the needful because it is not possible for me to pay that amount.

                          I understand backup staff of vadafone are not competetive in solving the customers queries. Recently I have requested to send the itemized bill. The executive has suggested me to register qwith vadafone for the same. When I argued man has switched on the music for 25 minutes and then said you need to contact local vadafone gallary and discuss there. Vadafone agents promise gifts for new connection and then finally they say we are sorry it is not there in our plan. In total I am not happy with them now I am planning to disconnecting vadafone.

                            I woukd like to report a complaint againest vodafone
                            At 10-MAy-2008 i got one call from Vodafone customer care. The person who was calling me, has told me his name as Deepak.
                            He has told me a new plan of 999, in which he offered me 3 years rental free, 300 local calls and 300 local SMS free on monthly basis.
                            After that i got call from varification department, the person has told me his name Aditya. His mobile no. is [protected]. He has sent a guy at my home address 33/21, old Rajendar nagar, New delhi.The guy who came to my house, has taken
                            3000/- rupees from me. I have given money him for 3 numbers.
                            He has given me the receipt of 3000/- on bahalf of Vodafone sub branch, LAXMI ENTERPRISES, 4/61, GURU ANGAD NAGAR, SHAKARPUR, Delhi, 110092.
                            Aditya has told me that the plan will be activated with in 2 days..now 20 days has been passed and no action has been taken from their end.
                            It would be great if you please check it out this issue, as it seems that the mobile no. of that guy is Employee mobile No.

                            Sir/madam,



                            This is with reference to my Vodafone Mobile No [protected], I had purchased on the 15th of April 2007 for a price of Rs 2100/-. According the Plan I was offerred the following tariff:



                            V2V - 50 p

                            V2O – Re 1

                            STD – Rs 1.50



                            Recently I went to a Vodafone Store wherein I was given a “THANK YOU CARD”, free of cost as a special gift stating that it will add to the benefits of my plan.



                            After I dialed to avail of the benefit of the Special Gift to my utter surprise instead of giving benefit, I was penalized and without my acceptance my local call rates were increased as follows:



                            V2V - Re 1

                            V2O – Re 1

                            STD – Re 1



                            I constantly called Vodaphone office from the 16th March asking for a justification and reason for the change in call rates without my prior knowledge, I was asked to call the next day so that their accounts are updated. On the next day none of the executives were able to find the actual reason for this change of Plan. On the 18th I was suggested to go to a vodafone store at Preet Vihar. On my visit there, after waiting for almost an hour, I was informed that my query would be resolved within 24 hours. After waiting for the stipulated time, I received no response from their end so I called the customer care. I had a word with the floor supervisor Mr Rajinder who informed me that the revised call rates were due to recharging with the Thank You card. When I informed him that I am a local Student and do not make STD Calls his behaviour was very Rude and Shocking and he disconnected the Phone by saying that recharging with the Tahnkyou Card was my fault.



                            I feel I have been Cheated By offering a Thankyou Card as there was no written or verbal warning on the Thank you card which has not only put me to Financial Loss but also Mental harassment as being a student and my Examination are due I can not afford the present Call rates. Because of the Call rates I had Spent Rs 2100/- initially to accept this Scheme.



                            As such type of behaviour is not Expacted from a Multi National Company Like VodfoneI, I request you to revert Back my Orignal Plan and Call rates without Delay which were prevailing prior to offering Thankyou Card and the necessary compensation henceafter.

But then after sending the msg as per the instruction i got the sms.“Sorry! You are not eligible for this offer” What crap is this? Is this a joke? What was the whole Thank You letter for?

                            even i don’t understand why these people do such nonsense. We haven’t asked for any thank you from them.if they have to do such kind of foolish thing, why have they given us such cards … its shameful from such a big service provider.

                              I bought a vodafone sim(prepaid) in kakinada and activated lifetime validity by end May'08 . I m a resident of Tamil nadu. I submitted my address proof(tamil nadu address) while i purchased it. After 4 days my calls were barred and Got to know through customer service that I need to submit a "local address proof" !! After this I promptly gave my company letter as stating my name and address in a "Vodafone store". After this I ve called up every alternate day to figure out a way to make understand the situation. Everytime different guys with the same wording "I m really sorry for the inconveinence caused" !! but not a single help offered. Now I m least bothered about the sim card and connection now. But I want you guys to know how a big corporate international firm in this modern age is having the worst customer service----- Well if you guys still think I get back my connection which I m not sure of, Then I look forward to it...

                                Dear Sir,

                                I would like to bring to your kind notice the poor service/support being followed by VODAFONE Telecom and I am the victim for the last 15 days since I purchased a Vodafone set 125.

                                I purchased a Vodafone 125[tel-[protected]] set on 10/6/2008 which comes with talk time and other value added services from M/s Gaurav Communications, Tagore Garden, New Delhi-110027, tel-[protected]. At the time of purchase, I was told that it would be activated on next day 1200pm i.e. on 11/6/2008. But as usual with these promises the set was not activated for 3 days. I called the dealer, Vodafone helpline. But surprisingly there was no clear answer from both. I may add that I submitted the copy of my address/identity proof on 10/6/08 to dealer. VODAFONE helpline told me that they have nothing to do what their dealers are doing even give false promises or cheat customers. I was told that service will be activated after 72 hours and dealers promise to start it next day was wrong. Then I told them to take action against the dealer. For last 13 days I am keeping a dead set after making the purchase. Neither company (VODAFONE) nor dealer is helping me to start the subscription. I am writing to Helpline/Nodal Officer constantly and waiting when my stamina disappears because there is no sign that my problem will be addressed in near future. Very strange response from a company which enters India to give better service to its customers.

                                For the last 15 days I am writing mails calling helpline but no help. My problem is simple I am unable to call even after make payment. Why nobody have the answer. I cannot make calls from my set. Company is not taking /listening to activate my service or telling me the problem. I sound other customer to beware of these company tactics to woo customers by enticing advts and then shut ears. The mechanism of Helpline/Nodal Officer to total failure and just an eyewash. I wonder they take 15 days to activate a service. Customers beware these companies.

                                  This is reference to my call with Hyderabad call center with Ramesh, Srinath, Rahul (Supervisor), Ram Krishnan (Supervisor) on 24 Jun 208 from 2000 hrs to 2200 Hrs.

                                  I am having Mobile no [protected] and it is my prepaid card. I am also using Vodafone post paid number [protected] which is my primary. I have recharged for Rs 550/- few days back for my prepaid. Today when I try to make a call, the voice messages says I do not have enough balance to make call. When I checked the balance it was showing minus Rs. 100 /-. I immediately called customer care and talk to Ramesh, since he did not find the solution he transferred to his supervisor Ram Krishnan. Ram Krishnan verified all my accounts patiently and concluded that I am having Rs 100 Positive amount. Also, He says i can make an outgoing call since the service is active. He also requested me to give me a call after verifying the same. With thanks, I disconnected my call and try to use the prepaid number to call other number. This time also I was having same problem. Again, I have contacted customer care, this time it was Srinath and he is also connected me to his supervisor Rahul. Rahul is looking impatience and not listening to me. He over took me, before I complete my sentence. He also went hot, when i tried to explain what I had talked to Ram Krishnan. He was also not accepting my complaint and he refuses to give contact details of nodal officers. Since I am using Hutch/Vodafone for almost 3 1/2 years, this is the first time for such a genuine complaint, the call center guy (Rahul) is refused to accept and become anger over me. It is sad that your "Happy to Help" is not working with this kind of customer treatment. If I am not getting justice, I will think to terminate all my Vodafone service and all publish this in all consumer forums. But I hope I will get the justice soon.

                                    I have been facing the problem with Vodafone network from a long time. I raised a problem in Nov 2007 then again May 2008 but nothing has been done yet.Today again i have raised a complaint and the Customer care executive is telling me that he doesn't know how much time it will take to solve the issue.

                                    Vodafone network is the worst in bangalore and specially in shanti nagar. Even Spice network is better
                                    My cell phone no. [protected]. I live in Kalena agrahara, bannerghatta road, Bangalore-72. My phone says that there's no network. I have had this problem for 24 hours. I am put to hardship.

                                      cheating after taking connection
                                      respecte sir/madam,
                                      hello sir i am Ashish Choudhury [protected] took a new connection from vodafone service at infosys bangalore counters on my current number .my new connection no is [protected].i had clearly talked to personals of vodafone present in infosys that my std usage will be be high and i need a plan according to the same. they showed me various plans and i found one plan where the STD charges will be 1.30 paise and there will be 600 minutes of local vodafone to vodafone charges free. All the paper work was done by them as they were from vodafone itself i thought that they will be doing the correct thing. No its been near 30 days that i took connection i get a call from vodafone that my credit limit is crossed and i need to pay immediately. I told the customer care reprenstative that i am a corporate customer and i shud get the detail itemised bill in my account(I remb while filling up the form i had mentioned that) and then i will verify the same and pay accordingly. But they said that i cannot get that in my mail as my plan doesnot allow that and if i want it they will charge me 75 rs extra. any ways i registerd into the vodafone website and got the bill and the floor under my leg just slipped when i saw that i had been charged 2.40 per std call. I took the printout to the center in infosys and approched the person who ahd filled in my details he said that my plan has 2.40 per std call and he cannot do anything about that and i need to pay that. My outgoing has been barred as because of the credit limit. Now is it my fault if those persons of vodafone are uneducated ppl and dont know the customer needs why are the selling the connections.
                                      I am completel cheated . please tell me what all further actions can i take regarding this .
