Vodafone service is the worst i have seen. I am trying to reach the customer care but they are not reachable. After trying for numerous times i get to connect with the customer care and the lady is speaking in Telugu and i am talking from the other end and she disconnects the call telling customer not responding. She had the worst set of headphones which had a lot of disturbance.
Now to the actual complaint:
I have been getting charged for some stupid VAS and for accessing some gaming zone where as i have not. How can VI charge me for something that i am not doing. They think i have all the time in the world to access the News channels and gaming zone? Pathetic service simply pathetic. First there is network issues with the damn connection and now this fraudulent charges.
I am sick and tired of the connection. I thought of changing it to postpaid connection but now I am having second thoughts.
I need an immediate resolution to this and an apology for baseless deductions.

    15 rupees was deducted from my main balance for accessing bcafe portal by vodafone when in reality i have never subscribed to any such service.
    15 rupees should be refunded to my main balance.

      I have not purchased any Vodafone no. but I am getting SMS like KYC done, thank you choosing Vi and mobile no. [protected] is registered.
      Looks like no. was issued in my name without proper document verification.
      Please find the attached screenshot for details.

        Unable to send banking sms to 5676766

        It shows error 29 while sending sms to 5676766 for banking purposes. I have around 3500+ sms left in my pack still can't sms...

        This is second time rs. 25 is deducted from the account on name of contakt gaming which was not activated by me.

        Should we keep 0 balance in account so that vodafone can't deduct anything from account.

        Hope to get immediate resolution of this.

          This company is working hard to find newer ways to cheat ans decieve its loyal customers. when the earlier idea of steeply increasing the recharge amount and simultaneously decreasing the service validity for same recharge failed miserably, it has now started showing old recharge of lower value on its website. when customer is lured to select this the company even accepts payment and declares successful recharge. after some time it says recharge failed and keeps the customer money for 10-14 days with it and frefunds only after customer claims. this has happened many times with many people so please be careful #trai #consumerforum @telecommunications

                    The current data plan promises 1.5 GB per day. However, I've noticed that the data expiring without any or limited usage. This is happening more than 1 year. When complained we were told the problem is with outdated SIM and they replaced the SIM card last year. Still the same behaviour.

                    The phone number is of my 60 y.o mother who rarely uses the phone expect 5 to max 10 minutes of whatsapp audio call 3 times a week. I've even disabled almost all apps from running in the background, notifications, automatic backup are all turned off. Still the same behaviour and suspected manipulation by service provider Vodafone.

                    I bought a JIO number to compare the results, which works remarkably good and accurately. I tested it out for Work from Home, with 5+ hours of video calls, Outlook updating without interruptions and exchanging large files AND tethering on 3 devices still consumes less than 1.5 GB for an entire day on JIO. But on Vodafone just on one device within 30 mins of browsing news website (not video feeds) I receive a data alert message that only 400 MB is left, indicating I've used up more than 1 GB already. Again within exactly 30 mins I get message that I've used up the daily limit. This is a 'timed' message than based on the actual consumption. Immediately after this message is received the data speed slows down to just bare minimum.

                    If it happens once or twice then it is an anomaly, especially that my mum does not use any social media, messaging or video streaming platforms. So I've been monitoring the data usage and it is clear as day & night that Vodafone is manipulating the data usage. The data usage setting shows only 5.6 GB for a MONTH, where as without usage it shows a large amount of data has been used up.

                    Every time I try to call the customer service it won't connect. I try to chat through their app and it won't connect. Besides their ViCare App itself is filled with promos and ads, which run at the expense of customer's data. This is an unfair advantage to the service provider in advertisement revenue. But still it is Unethical and corporate looting end users who do not understand technology but have paid for the service. I strongly urge that there is an investigation/audit done on Vodafone India's practice. Please note this is not a technical support issue that Vodafone themselves can provide resolution but rather a complaint on malpractice of a service provider.

                        Port msg getting failed all the time when i try to send but i can send message on other numbers.
                        I dont know hot vodafone can do this by blocking msg for 1900 number only.

                          Vodafone India hai activated a 699₹ family plan on my number without my knowledge/agreement.

                          I was briefed about the plan in December 21 to which i declined to opt for this plan and still the plan has been activated and now i have been charged a bill of 828.36₹ unnecessarily which is frustrating.

                          This is purely a scam where callers sell the plan and impose them on customers without there consent.

                          I would request Vodafone to look into this on priority.

                            I am using a Vodafone SIM bearing no-[protected] and trying to switch to another network. After sending several PORTING messages to 1900, i am not getting PORTING code. Vodafone has blocked messages for receiving UPC for porting.

                              I have a post paid SIM card, I was not using it but I have paid all the due bills, and I have clearly requested a Vodafone representative, Mr. Sankalp (phone no: [protected]) on 1/12/2021 to stop services to my number and block it. He has assured me he would do the same after I pay my bills but he never did that, because of which I am still receiving e mails from Vodafone and I have requested the represenatatives through phone, for which they have assuerd they would take up the matter but didn't and mails for which none of them responded.

                                Due to poor network, I have finally applied for portability of my number, and since then, getting repetitive calls from them more than 30 a day!. They don't care even you justify the reason and requesting again and again to not call, but they won't listen.
                                This is not right way to keep disturbing on a Sunday morning.

                                    I have ported my Vodafone SIM to Airtel 3 months ago. I am constantly getting calls regarding payment due for a different number ([protected]) from vodafone customer care. I have no connection with that account neither have any idea whose number that is. The person's name stated by vodafone is Shirishkumar and he had given my number as an alternate contact. They claim it was linked 8 years ago. This month I got whatsapp messages from [protected] regarding due payment on my own number for 3 months (which is already ported to Airtel before that duration), also he is threatening for legal action. I confronted him on his messages and I haven't received any messages further on. To be clear I have cleared all my dues before porting and the webpage even mentions that for inactive odafone numbers. I requested customer care to unlink my number from that account of Shirishkumar and they are saying they cant. After a while when the call ended I got a message stating contakt gaming service is activated and deduted Rs 25, very strange to get that message on an no VI Sim.

                                      I am currently inSweden and My Mobile Phone was stolen and I lost my Vodafone India SIM card.All my India bank details and other important things are linked with thisnumber.  I [protected]@vodafoneidea.com and I am aware of the process that I have to goto the India Vodafone office with original documents and collect the new SIM card. Since I am not in India, I requested them that my Elder brother on my Behalfwill go to Vodafone India office and submit my original documents with all the details and along with this Vodafone can verify the document on Video call. I am ready to give a Power of Attorney to my elder brother to collect Vodafone sim card on my behalf. I am ready to take full responsibility if any consequences arise and Vodafone-Idea will not be responsible.Â
                                      After all this explanation, I Got a response that you have to come to the Vodafone office India. Why can't Vodafone-Idea do digital verification? Is this so difficult?Â
