[Resolved]  Volkswagen India — Ameo diesel service issue and quality of the spare parts

With due respect and facts, I would like to submit my grief and hardships faced after purchasing a VW vehicle.

In 2016, I purchased a VW Ameo (high-line diesel) car, Rightfrom the start o[censored]sing the vehicle I have been facing severalperformance & quality-related issues. In this regard, I have contacted the VW service center several times, and on every service, I was promised that it was rectified, but I have been facing the same even after that.
In 2017, My car’s windshield had an airline crack, with no fault of mine and when requested to replace it on warranty the samewas denied by VW hence, I had to replace it at my own cost, and within 3 months after replacement I again faced the same airline crack on it and I reached VW customer service and they paid no heed to my request.

In 2022 July, I gave my car for an Annual service, And on inspection, I was suggested by the service team to replace the clutch pad as the vehicle had completed 65k km. I spent around 25k for the same to get that replaced and I was told that the next replacement should be done after completion of 35, 000 to 40, 000 Km. Within weeks o[censored]sage, I felt it rough while gear transmission which was unusual in my car, I contacted the service team over the phone, and I was told that It would take a while for the clutch plates to adapt to the usage, but even after few months o[censored]sage, I was facing the same issue on the clutch.Last week while I was driving, My car started to wobble and shake while transmitting gear. In this regard, I reached the VW service center, To my surprise, I was told that my car’s clutch needed replacement. I requested to replace that considering it as defective or on warranty, but I received a blunt reply saying I had to pay to get that replaced, which is ridiculous as I had only driven 11, 000 Km on it and the earlier one was replaced just 9 months before.

I had trust and credibility in VW which made me choose your company’s product, that is why I have serviced my vehicle at the VW service center so far and also recommended my brother to buy a Skoda Rapid in 2018. But now it is surprising how could a VW vehicle face these many issues (right from day 1 o[censored]sage) with OEM products even after replacement. With utmost trust and faith in VW, I think my concern & the agony I am facing after buying VW Ameo will be heard and taken care of.

As the above explained, I would like your good self to kindly look into my issue and redress the same to replace the clutch system and other necessary consumables treating it as a product defect.
