[Resolved] Voltas — 1.5 ton split ac not cooling | |||||
I have repeatedly taken up this issue of a faulty 1.5 ton spilt ac that we purchased in apr 2016. Ever since the ac was installed the water starting leaking from pipe which was done by voltas engineers only. Now exactly 2 years after the ac was bought it has stopped cooling and the remote too is dead. When i approached customer care, the only thing they keep repeating is that service engineer would come, his charges are inr 400 if the gas has leaked then refilling charges are inr 1800. At the onset why should a top brand like voltas should not take responsibility of a faulty machine and either fix the problem with nominal charges as a normal service provider agency would cost half as much with no hassles. There will be no visiting charges and the refill with a 6 month warranty will be done within 1500. It's not just about money but the fact that the machine has been a constant headache from day 1. And now i am done with looking after and fixing it. Is there any workable solution? This ac has become a costly affair for me. Was this information helpful? | |||||
