[Resolved] Voltas — 1.5 Ton Split Inverter ACs NOT WORKING FROM 6 MONTHS!!! | |
Purchased 4 Voltas Split Inverter ACs (1 1 ton for the guest room, 1 2 ton for the hall & 2 1.5 ton for the master bedroom and kids room) from Tata Cliq on 31 March 2022. They were delivered in April 2022. Installation date was 6 April 2022. Before installation, Synergy Electronics, a Voltas authorized Service Centre checked all the existing pipes, did a nitrogen test to check if there is leakage in the pipes and found that there was no leakage. So, 2 ACs, a 1.5 ton in the master bedroom and the 1 ton in the guest bedroom were installed using the old pipes. The 2 ton and the 1.5 ton for the other 2 rooms were installed with a totally new set of pipes and racks. The 2 1.5 ton ACs have been bad from day one o[censored]sage; 14 May 2022. Especially, the 1.5 ton Inverter (2021 Range) 185V JZJT in the master bedroom stopped working in 2 weeks o[censored]sage!! F9 was the constant error. Synergy Electronics did a varied set of repairs, replaced a ton of parts and then admitted that this particular model was a defective one. They had received multiple complaints about this from customers. After a long back and forth with Voltas, they replaced the model with supposedly the latest model 185VCZR on 4 June 2022. This model has turned out to be much worse than the previous one!!! It just never works!! Every part has been replaced!! Either F9 errors or ice formation and water leakage. This is repaired every week!! Synergy Electronics just keeps repairing and refilling gas. It works for a day after filling gas and then stops working! It’s been 6 months and the AC is still not working. Some technician from a direct Voltas Service Centre had also checked the AC. His suggestion was to just keep repairing the AC since it was anyway in warranty and to take an AMC later!! He later said to install the AC in another part of the room because there was leakage in the pipes. The pipes were checked with an expensive Nitrogen test before installation and there was NO leakage!! The kids room 1.5 ton AC has also had every part replaced and has faced multiple repairs. The escalation contact details mentioned on the Voltas Service website are completely useless. Mails to the Voltas Regional Service Manager and the Voltas Customer Service Head were not even acknowledged!! Why are these escalation details mentioned?! To fool customers?!!!
