The AC (4551960A18EA00978) that I bought on 28 April 2019 through Tata CLIQ never worked.
In the beginning, I followed up; Voltas people came three to four times and refilled the gas, but the same situation (not cooling) after 10-15 days. Due to the pandemic, I could not follow up with Voltas. This AC has been lying useless for the last four years. Recently I requested Voltas to take this matter seriously and resolve it once and for all. Now they started showing true colors. They raised a request - Service Request Number: [protected]; Service Center: SHREELAXMI ENTERPRISES.
A person came to my place and felt that the condenser needed to be changed, and there was no warranty for the condenser. I showed him my 5 years comprehensive warranty. I am surprised to see that they can not understand the meaning of a comprehensive warranty. After that, they said it did not include a condenser coil, and then they said the warranty had lapsed because I should do service twice a year through Voltas only. I am wondering, when I received a faulty product since the beginning, gas leakage three times, what is the point of doing services to a product that did not run at all? I do not know if there is any way to know if the product really ran. If yes, please send a person to check the same.
