[Resolved] Voltas — authorised ac installer asked for extra money and refused to install when I declined. | |||
I purchased a Voltas Split-type Inverter Air Conditioner 183V DZU2 on June 6th 2019. I called the customer care on the same day and was told that the installation would be completed within 2 days. Even after calling hundreds of time, there was no response from the center. I was told by the customer care that they have highlighted my request and they will take action as soon as possible. Finally I called the service center and at the end of 2 days they sent 2 guys to install the AC. I was initially told by the customer care that the installation charge for split AC is 499 rupees only, but i was asked for 700 rupees by the service center. When I refused to pay extra 200 rupees, the service center manager called the installation guy and told them to cancel the installation. The workers then left the half installed AC as it was and left. When I called the manager about it, he asked for 200 rupees. My AC was installed only after paying a total of 700 rupees.
