[Resolved] Voltas — Pathetic service by the Voltas technicians | |||||
Dear Voltas, I am going through a lot of frustration cause of my Voltas 1.5 183 sy air conditioner. I bought this product through cool works Margao on 7th nov 2016 .just after 1 month o[censored]se .the swing motor was found defective it was replaced. After that, the outdoor unit started making rattling noise .to rectify this, the margao agency sent 3 different technicians 3 times at last it got solved. After this the blower started making noise just after 4.5 months of installation that too was solved by replacing the blower. Then there came water leakage from inside unit. the technicians from Voltas which came from their Agency ( HOUSE OF AIR CONDITIONERS &REFRIGERATION CINE VISHANT ROAD MALBHAT MARGAO GOA PH.[protected]) came 2 times but could not detect the fault which was latter on detected by the technician sent by the dealer COOLWORKS MARGAO. We asked Voltas to Replace the entire product as it was giving frequent problems but they insisted that the product is okay. Now recently the displayed showed E5 and unit shut down completely and i raised a complaint trough the dealer request no [protected] on 23rd Dec. 2016 The agency quickly sent a technician on 24th Dec.16. As i was present at home i could see this technician came without any multi meter he said the fault is in PCB agreed to repair it and brought back on 26th Dec 16 after installing the PCB the same problem occurred again within 3 minutes .took back the PCB 2nd time told me they will replace the PCB with new one.As there was no response from voltas i raised another complaint on 4Th Jan.17 req. no [protected]. Till 8th Jan 17 nobody attended the complaint .Frustrated i called the Above named agency in-charge .He promised that problem will be solved by 9 th Jan17 as he will receive the new PCB which they ordered will land by 6Th JAN 17.As there was no sign of showing up of technicians i called The Agency again on 9th JAN 17. said he will send someone by 10th jan that also failed finally after lot of pleading and showing dissatisfaction .technicians came on 11th jan with the same old PCB repaired not new one( I Recognized it as my name was written on it previously when they took for repair). so from 23rd DEC 16 to 11 JAN 17 it took 19 days to get the PCB repaired .To my horror even after installing the PCB for 3rd time the E5 message came on display within minutes and the unit went off. I was really angry on the technicians as they didn’t know where the fault is.they also didn't have a multi-meter to check the things. Now they tell me its the blower motor problem and they will replace the same. Through this letter i intend to send a message to Voltas to employ well trained and experienced Technicians who have knowledge of the product and ample experience. Employing unskilled technicians will spoil their reputation, create loss in revenue and customer dissatisfaction. May be it was not the unit which was defective. May be it was negligence on part of the Technicians to consider all causes and jump to wrong conclusions. Was this information helpful? | |||||

there is a lesson to learn here to reach to this conclusion Voltas previous technicians took almost 20 days .If they had brought the multi meter for first check up, lot of time and inconvenience caused to us would have been saved
the problem still is there but i am convinced that someone competent was sent
